About me
*I am double vaccinated and had covid-19 before so my immunity is off the charts! I will be getting my booster soon.*
~~~~~My Story~~~~~
"Can you hold me while I cry?" a friend asked me a year ago. I thought I would feel overwhelmed or strange because he was a man, but I didn't. I felt relief and even pride. I was impressed that he was asking for the type of support that so many men need but are afraid to ask for. We had a few extremely comforting hours together, and I saw how, over the next couple weeks, his faith in humanity and quality of life tremendously improved.
This is how my career as a cuddler began.
I know how important touch is, and I know how important it is for that touch to be *on your own terms.* Many people don’t have opportunities to establish boundaries that they need, to ask for what they want, or to say “no” when they want. And it’s led to so much touch starvation and loneliness, especially for men, who are wrongly taught that cuddling is unmanly or that they're inherently dangerous and not cuddly just because they're men (what sad lies!).
Professional cuddling is the perfect solution to the problem of touch starvation. This is your chance to cuddle on your own terms.
I’m more than happy to teach you what I have learned about communicating wants and boundaries, and I’m looking forward to discovering how cuddling can make you feel happy about yourself and the world. I’m proud of you and I’m proud of me for turning here to make this life a little safer and warmer.
~~~~~Services~~~~~
Here is what could happen during one of our sessions (depending on your needs for the time):
1. Embodiment: We notice feelings in our bodies and see how they relate to our emotions. We might do some breathing or meditation exercises to help with this noticing.
2. Coaching: We brainstorm ways to feel less lonely and tense in life.
3. Grief work: We process loss together.
4. Artistic expression: We creatively explore touch and/or share inspiration.
5. Trauma processing: We carefully practice human touch together when it's scary or hard because of bad past experiences; we try some gentle and consensual exposure therapy.
6. Friendship: We just keep each other company: Maybe we eat snacks, watch something together, or share music.
~~~~~About Me~~~~~
I spend my time cuddling, working as a life coach, volunteering at a relationship education hotline, picking up various psychology research volunteer work, and applying to graduate/PhD programs. For fun, I enjoy weight training, dancing, reading about decision theory, making architectural charcoal drawings, and eating macarons.
~~~~~Session Planning~~~~~
I ask that you:
- provide a clean and quiet space
- be respectfully hygienic
- keep touch platonic
- tell me about any disabilities that could affect our session before we meet
- are and remain completely sober
- wear no less than a tank and shorts
***I reserve the right to leave any session and stop communication without refund should I feel my boundaries are not being respected***
Payment:
I ask for 50% at the time of booking (which happens during the presession call) to cover my time and travel costs and to make sure you are committed. I ask for the remainder at the beginning of the session. I as that you cover the travel costs (Uber, gas, etc., depending).
There are no refunds should you cancel the session or should I cancel the session if I perceive there are or will be boundary violations. If I cancel a session due to logistical issues on my part, we may reschedule or I will refund you.
Looking forward to cuddling with you!
