I just received this random message in my inbox, never messaged this individual. It goes to show you that women in this community select cuddlers based on their appearance. If my profile had a picture of any man from a different race, I would get more responses.

    I'd say it goes to show that people who feel the need to tell complete strangers, "Hey, I'm not interested in you and here's why!" are rude.

    But we already knew that.

    I've been trying to find the post on the forum where that one woman shared the out-of-the-blue message another rude messager sent her: it said something like "I'm not interested in fat women" (to which the obvious response is "In that case, if you think I'm fat, don't message me").

    Can't find it.

    Anyway, if you're deciding that this community isn't for you on the basis of one jerk, you might want to reconsider. There are a lot of other, less jerkish people here. Promise.

    Of course, you might've decided this community isn't for you based on other reasons I don't know about, in which case you might be better off leaving. Every community in the world isn't great for every person in the world! It's nice to be able to find one that works for you.

    I’m still trying to figure it out. If in fact it’s strictly about cuddling what does color have to do with anything? And omg reality check not everyone that is darker skin is black. I thought there was a time when people should be some adults hell even children have more mature thoughts. Just my two cents.

    @hopelesscuddler While many are saying the message was rude I tend to say you hit the nail on the head in your initial post. Of course the message was rude and saying so is stating the obvious. The motivation behind the rudeness is what is insidious. I think you are absolutely correct to say that if you were a lighter color you would receive more messages. This site is a cross section of the larger world and this person and I am sure others on this site are inherently racist though they cloak it through “preference.” Do not leave the site or the racists win—JMO.

    It was extremely rude to just randomly message that to you. But if we're being honest: I think ALL of us look at appearance when it comes to who we want to cuddle with. If you say no, I just don't believe you. Sorry.
