  • Lol 😂 (don’t let her see this 🤪)

So.... Either discuss this with her or stop seeing her/paying her.

  • @CuddleDuncan I dont think she won't I never seen her in the blog.

@ @BuggleBear Wen I mentioned she should payme I said it has a joke. I said under no circumstances im saying it in a bad way. She actually really Awsome.

  • My feeling is that what the OP describes is not at all rare.

It's not a bad thing. Two people who need support are getting some. The money is merely the oil that a dysfunctional cuddle community requires. (The dysfunctionality is of course a reflection of society.)

I've been thinking for a while about the different types of cuddle professional. This illustrates one kind - the woman who is essentially an enthusiast cuddler, but registers as a professional because of the various benefits it brings in terms of safety, less abuse, and so on. And the money is nice, of course.

  • If your a pro cuddler and you hire a pro, who pays who?

I always wonder about this myself I am not a pro by any means but I feel when I cuddle with the people I do that I should be the one cuddling them and I really don’t like being the center so when I get asked what I want I don’t know what to say. Like come here and just let me cuddle you lol.

Ha! Yes, but I agree, it's ok. I think you also benefit from that situation whether you realize it or not. I've mentioned in another post that my 1st experience with a pro, I felt like 80% of the time that it was I that was the therapist. It was such a good experience for her that she lost track of time. We scheduled for 1 hour & we were together 3 hours, lol. She probably released all the tension she had in the moment and a whole new world was open unto me.

  • I’m not complaining because at the end of the day, she was cool but I actually thought this after holding and caressing my Pro to sleep. She started snoring and I was left like... umm ok lol. It was all good.

  • To me at least, it should be going both ways.......giving support to each other, whether the cuddler is a pro or not.....

  • @Lev136 in many cases I quite agree.

However, I can draw a distinction here between what you might call a cuddle professional, in which case your remark is apposite, and a cuddle therapist, in which case it is not.

Cuddle therapy is how I first met the cuddling world. In Cuddle therapy it is not appropriate for the client to care for the therapist beyond normal social behaviour. The whole point is the relationship is not mutual, it is asymmetrical in the same way that a relationship with a talking therapist is asymmetrical.

While obviously I agree that the pro should feel comfortable and safe, their enjoyment is very much a bonus in the situation. I would be very disappointed and feel quite cheated if I had paid hard earned cash to someone who then treated me like I was there to listen to their problems and make them feel better. To me, that is just unprofessional at best, and downright rude at worst.

The person paying should have priority in terms of having their emotional/cuddling needs met.

  • You have some viable options here. Stop seeing her; become a pro and charge her for services rendered; forget the money and make her your girl! Ha!

  • It's a win-win, of course, if the pro is able to have her needs met. In my eyes, the most genuine, wholesome cuddles are two-way streets. But I think if someone is a professional, then the priority is meeting the needs of the client. Additionally, If the professional loses track of time and goes way beyond the time slot, that is rather unprofessional and can lead to situations that make it more likely for the client or pro to get taken advantage of.

Huh... @Chris04 ~ I really think that if what you're paying for is the opportunity to hold space for another because it's something you crave but aren't getting otherwise, and she's able to provide that to you, then that's great!

But there should be some sort of conversation and consent around that. You're the client, presumably there to either cuddle with or be cuddled by, not to be the only one doing the cuddling.

If there hasn't been a discussion, then that too seems unprofessional and you're likely being taken advantage of. But who knows, maybe that's something worth paying for to you. If so, congrats. If not though... you may need to consider some of the advice given by others.

    fixed typos

  • If I paid that kind of money to cuddle with someone, I'd like to feel that they were holding space for me, not me for them, sheesh. It seems a little self-centered to me to charge money for the privilege of listening to her woes. And falling asleep on you? Ack. Not impressed.

Be careful... saying anything that could be construed as being negative against a Pro can get you banned. It doesn't appear CC likes people saying anything (even the truth) that can be seen as negative about the pros that make them money.

@funnycuddles: "...saying anything that could be construed as being negative against a Pro can get you banned..." is blatantly untrue. Breaking the forum or site rules can get someone banned. Being critical or having constructive criticism is not a ban-able offense. If you have a specific example, you can message me directly @Sideon .

  • wow It is no surprise that the op stopped replying to everyone, it is amazing how someone’s words can be taken out of context in sooo many directions.

    Read that quote again.

@Chris04 read my post today about giving v receiving--it is about this subject.

@Jascuddleboo32 the person paying is the client and they get to choose how the cuddle goes.

  • I'd mention that under no circumstances saying it in bad way and that she's a beautiful person.

Funny how the subject wen out context. Im a repeated client, so she must be doing something right. And that she tells some things she goes through,,, that's a normal conversation with any build body after thrust is built within time.

If im going to pay some one to tell my problems and seek advice, for that I'll pay a psychologist.

  • I sincerely appreciate yall comments. You are all amazing and beautiful people. Always keep that in mind.
