Why are people so afraid of math? To me, it feels like solving a puzzle and it feels so satisfying when I can get to a correct answer. Keeping your brain active is good for you. It reduces the likelihood of getting Alzheimer's when you get older.

@Gallowglass - I thought I had difficulty with math. It's doable for most people if you're willing to put the time in it. When I decided to to college, I had to relearn middle school math(I didn't remember any of that) so my first couple classes were non-credit remedial math courses and I continued to press on taking mostly math and made it through Calculus III while I was still a freshman.
@Mike403 and @Gallowglass - this is my experience with Mathing.
No matter how much anyone knows about math, no-one knows what the government spends their taxes on.
It helps having awesome professors who motivates me to want to learn it without giving answers. Engineering classes aren't easy, but it feels rewarding once I figure out a concept.
I had a lot of trouble with math in high school, flunked out several times. Then, when I got to my mid twenties, it became a lot easier (not that it's easy) for me for whatever reason and I even tutored math for a little while.
@sunnysideup - I had trouble in math in high school only because I was lazy and didn't want to put in the time to understand the homework. Most teenagers don't take school seriously until they become mature enough to understand how important an education is.
