I don't know if how many face this issue, but many of the cuddlers don't even respond, even the professionals. All you could do is say hi back. If you are clear in not going forward, it's better to say it out right ?
You joined in 2015. Have you not already browsed the countless other threads that talk about this ?
For better or worse, the standard behavior on the Internet if someone reaches out to you and you're not interested in talking to them is just to not respond. Fighting this is hopeless. That ship sailed decades ago. Just accept it.
(And yes, most men are mostly ignored by women on the Internet. This is also just a fact of life one has to accept.)
Now one could argue that it's different in the case of pros -- what kind of business are people running if they ignore potential customers? But what is there to do about it? If people want to run halfass businesses... well... so what?
Everybody faces this issue. Don't take it personally.
