I'm new here but this idea really appeals to me! How does one go about becoming a professional cuddler? Feel free to pm me with details if you are one and have any tips or examples of how you go about doing this. Thanks :)

I can help here. I just finished a 4 day course here in LA with Cuddle Santuary so I can be affiliated by them to lead groups and provide ONE on ONE also under their umbrella. I am also heading to Portland Oregon for another training with cuddleuptome. I can personally vouch for both of them and their trainings.
    Checkout these two sites
    http://cuddlesanctuary.com
    http://cuddleuptome.com
Cuddle up to me has an online certification program also.
Although i took the course for more personal reasons, In my opinion certification provides a more legitimate feel for your profession and really helps take out the stigma of being seen as a sex worker of a different sort.
    Blessings to you!
A final note. Setting boundaries and self care are very important to this profession. Please remember to provide that self care to yourself and work on knowing your boundaries and being able to firmly establish them without hesitation.
  • Be careful who you choose to cuddle with
  • Theunkownlocal has a perfect response, self care is most important!!
Dont ever feel badly for saying "NO"
I used craigslist to post a few ads, I havent tried any cuddle sites excpet here, and i met one guy off here and he was great. :)
    Goodluck with your cuddles!
  • Hi Silky~ pretty profile pic!

    I recommend Cuddlist.com
    http://cuddlist.com
Co-founders Madelon & Adam are great communicators and the course is comprehensive. Though I've been in practice for some time I seek insurance and legitimization so certification is vital. I've nearly finished with my certification course and I'm impressed with it- very thought-provoking. I'm glad it's well-crafted as proper tuition is vital. The site also offers on-going professional support. Hope you enjoy too.

Between CuddleComfort and Cuddlist I'm very happy.

Please make sure to focus on Boundaries & Consent. Be clear & be safe.

    Good Luck!
    :)
