I let my guard down and got Covid because I had somebody stay with me, moving in from another household, and I didn't think to vet them. Now five months later I still don't have my olfactory sense back 100%. I've lost a lot of taste notes, and I was asymptomatic otherwise. My 59 year old friend died from Covid. I've embraced the vaccine, which wasn't a big leap because, Boomer that I am, I recall people crippled from polio and messed up from measles, and realize that vaccines are way better than rolling the dice. Finished my Moderna series and looking forward to humanity possibly regaining its footing.
