Good evening to all of the people on this lovely forum. I just rewrote my profile description and would definitely like some feedback on what you think. Is this a good bio? Do you think it would put anyone off? All feedback is welcome.
@Andy1996 - I think it's pretty good. I would separate the text into paragraphs (with spaces between each). It makes it easier to read.
Also I would not go into detail about your music tastes, your choices might put some people off. Just say you like a variety of music and are willing to listen to whatever you and your cuddle partner both like.
I took @UKGuy's feedback into consideration as well. In summary I advise: proof-reading your writing a few hours or days later at a time you're able to focus. As well as avoid the excessive use of qualifiers, unnecessary descriptions and put what you write in order of importance. Great profile descriptions are concise with a focus on key points and give a glimpse into who you are.
I'd write like this... though you can take my improvements with a grain of salt and a splash of lemon lol.
"Hello wonderful people.
I enjoy cuddling because of its many health benefits such as stress reduction. I am generally looking to cuddle with anybody.
Hand scratches, back scratches and back rubs are my favorite. And yes, massages are definitely welcome.
I am sociable and feel that social interaction is crucial. My hobbies include cuddling and hanging out with my friends.
Given my diverse musical interest, I think we can find something we mutually like to listen to.
I require a 10 to 15 minute video call before meeting so I can make sure I am talking to the right person."
A few more improvements could be made, for instance are you willing to cuddle in silence, or chat some instead of listening to music? In that case, I'd convey options to others so they don't feel put off by having to listen to music.
What do you mean by so you can make sure that you are talking to the right person?
Edit: Also, you mean head scratches not hand scratches, right?
Being required to be on a video call for 10 to 15 minutes may be off putting to some. If it is indispensable to you however, hopefully you'll find people willing to do that. Or perhaps you can compromise with a voice call or messaging for the rest of the conversation for those it suits better.
If you are hiring a pro, 15 min video chat Is a lot to expect. You are paying them for their time and expecting a good deal of their free time prior to even meeting for a paid session . That is asking a lot of some who may not have that kind of extra time to spend on you
100% agree with @pmvines
If you're using video chat to verify identity that's fine but should only take 2-4 minutes MAX. If you require 10-15 minutes of someone's unpaid time to verify identity that's an issue on your end that you should address. Have your questions ready to go and omit the small talk that can wait until the session begins.
Also keep in mind that pros are asked to not give out their contact info unless you have booked a session through the site as a means to avoid circumventing the 15 percent fee
Also, I wasn't sure how to word this previously. Though your use of require there gives quite a rigid vibe too, which, you could probably substitute for a more pleasant wording.
I agree with the suggestions others have given. You didn’t ask about the photo but it could use improvement. That’s not a great angle and your face is cut off. Remember, women need to get the impression that you’re safe and inviting. Think about this from the woman’s point of view.
@Babichev his second photo looks like it'd be good to put as his first.
I definitely changed my picture a few minutes ago. And I hope that you like it.
@Andy1996 your main photo looks good, for some reason it only shows after visiting your profile and on the forum it is stuck on your old photo. Maybe just an issue on my side. You could also use your other photo as the second photo if you'd like.
