Is there anything we can do to get a pro cuddler unbanned?
Hey @Drop_the_Mike ! The pro cuddler can submit an appeal, but that's about it. If they didn't get banned for too severe a reason, and they seem remorseful, sometimes we'll give a second chance.
Hi @squeakytoy theres a non- pro whom I was chatting with a while back and saw their account was temporarily paused, but it’s been that was for 3 months, any idea why that could happen? They were from a different city and never asked for money or anything. Just curious
Acccount paused usually means something administrative, like their credit card didn't go through. It's not problematic in itself. (We all know what payment cards are like.) If it's been like that for a while, it's possible that the professional doesn't think it's worth getting it sorted out, or isn't able to for some reason.
@Drop_the_Mike From my experience with friends that have been banned, it's a hit or miss (or if the Moderator likes the person).
@funnycuddles - it's not hit or miss. We have a clear protocol on what/why someone is banned. Anyone banned has an opportunity to appeal their ban. Very few take the time or careful consideration of writing their appeal - so they stay banned. [-Sid]
@funnycuddles I can say with absolute certainty that your allegation is untrue. It's untrue for two different reasons. Firstly, the mods here strive to give everybody a fair chance - it's obvious from their behaviour in the forums. We know our mods, they are members of our community. I know people who have been banned and they are all crystal clear that they deserved it.
Secondly, if you have come to the attention of the moderators on any site as a potential banee, then they already don't like you. 'Like' or 'dislike' doesn't come into it.
A very significant factor in the decision whether or to to ban somebody is the private conversation about the incident and/or the reaction to the news of the ban. On this site people who have been banned get a one off chance to appeal. Knowing the characters of our mods, I would guess that a respectful and contrite appeal, recognising the wrong that was done, has a pretty decent chance of some kind of positive result. However, I strongly suspect that the appeal option is rarely used for anything other than abuse.

Just an aside. The people at Ban invented the first roll on deodorant in the 50s. So a ban doesn’t necessarily stink, but leaves the forum smelling of Lavender.
