Has anyone used a "hug curtain" or "hug glove" to cuddle?

I was watching some youtube videos about how people are hugging and cuddling during the pandemic. There were some videos of people using a "hug curtain" or a "hug glove" to hug each other and cuddle. It looks like a clear shower curtain with two holes for each person to put their arms in. You can hug each other with the physical barrier of the clear shower curtain. Has anyone tried it or heard of it? Would you be willing to hug using one of these? Does anyone have any other ideas for how to hug/cuddle safely during the pandemic, especially now that we have to worry about the more transmissible Delta Variant?

  • I've seen video of it although I haven't done it. Seems to work reasonably well.

Current 'maximum best practice' for covid safe cuddling is:-

    Both double vaccinated
Both get tested day before or day of
Check with each other that neither has symptoms
Both wear masks throughout (mildly annoying, but not as bad as you think)
    Wash hands on arrival
Meet in a very well-ventilated room (or outside, even better)
Maintain social distance when not actually cuddling
Do not point faces at each other: cuddling 'face to face' is ok as long as you are breathing over each others' shoulders
As much as possible, do not touch anything the other person has touched
Disinfect bathroom, door handles etc. before and after

If you do all of that the risk of transmission is miniscule.
