Actually being a belly dancer, I was reticent to share that with clients. There are still people who believe that belly dancers are like strippers. Not that I have a problem with strippers of course. Just thought it might send the wrong message as a cuddler.
For sure, especially the Egyptian culture has that view.
I love the music and the food, and tend to roll my eyes/grit my teeth at the other aspects of that “culture”.
Of course, I don’t throw stones, because my own “culture” is full of poison too.

I suppose I sing very well (I went to a performance art school when I was younger that I had to audition to get into) and I’m getting really good at pole dancing lol. It’s a hobby not that many people know about but I really enjoy it
Random skills/talents: I am good at giving massages which I would call a hidden skill because I have not had formal training. With the exception of this community, I don't go around offering massages to everyone for fear that they'll get the wrong idea about me. I can draw a little and I wrote a lot of poetry when I was a teen but it was mostly therapeutic and I don't share it. I speak Spanish and so I can read Portuguese and I can understand some French but that is through listening intently to decipher the phrase... I can also sing Happy Birthday in Farsi and have learned some random words but I haven't continued to practice it.
Everyone here has shared so much of their work and it is truly inspiring and makes me want to get out my art supplies and practice to show what I can do.
Thank you for this thread it brought a smile to my face and encouraged me to at least say Hi to everyone and share a little about myself.
If someone is willing to volunteer to stand in front of a large tree I am usually pretty good at axe throwing. Usually.
I'm currently obsessed with chess! I play online mostly because there's always a fresh supply of opponents my game has greatly improved and that's fun!

I’m a DJ! I’ve worked in broadcasting my whole life and was a club and mobile DJ during college and beyond when I worked in radio. I’ve moved to the TV side of the biz, and my DJ work is most for fun or for things like friends’ parties or my high school reunion, but I do like to put together mega mixes occasionally to share with everybody online…mostly 80s music since I am definitely gen x. @pmvines cookie monster voice takes skill and it isn't something that gets much recognition from those that don't like it. I have been singing since grade school. In recent years I've taken singing to the next level and have also been learning to do harsher vocals. The DVD The Zen of Screaming taught me a lot about this. Lacey Sturm's book put words to the why of screaming. I've always been a metal head and now I can do it too One of my recent favorites is Lord of the Lost.
I sing almost anything and love to cook. I'm also a techie that is way too empathic for my own good sometimes. I'm not unfamiliar with ink (writing and drawing) Color pencils are useful at times but I like ink best. I enjoy combining paper drawings with digital additions)
