Is it me or is there just not very many people on here?

    @Babichev

    I would say limiting it to someone who has been online within the last week is a pretty significant restriction. I’m pretty active here and at times I haven’t checked in for a month or so.

    Trust me, that limitation is necessary. 99.999% of people who haven't been on the site in a week are just never ever going to message back, whether they're enthusiasts or pros or whatever, so messaging such accounts is almost guaranteed to be a waste of time.

  • @CuddleWho my experience has been different. For myself the email I get reminds me and I check the message. I've also had people who haven't been online in awhile and I message them message me back. I'd say like @Babichev said maybe a month or so would be a better limit.

  • Professional cuddlers are awesome! Just saying! If you can’t connect with enthusiasts do try and reach out to pro cuddlers.

  • Be honest location and having money to pay for pros on here best option. Or go on dates in real life find someone to cuddle that way its easier and more organic that way

    As an enthusiast, I do get a lot of messages, but not such a flood that I can't read and process them all. That said, at least 85% of the messages I get are simply "Hello"or "Wassup" or "hru."

    I can intellectually understand why men wouldn't put a lot of effort into a message that they're not sure will be answered, but a single word? A three-letter acronym? It's literally zero effort.

    I don't answer those messages now. I used to, but then it seemed like it was then on me to carry the weight of the conversation. And that, in turn, makes me feel like--if we were to meet up for a cuddle--I would be doing a lot of the emotional labor there too.

    Roughly 10% of messages say something like, "Hi, I'm ____. Would you like to be cuddle buddies?" This is better, but still skips a lot of steps in the process of building a connection.

    Another 4% are elaborate, well-written, detailed paragraphs that come off a bit like an elevator pitch. They can be witty, but are clearly copy/pasted to everyone. Sometimes one will hit right, and a conversation will begin.

    That final 1% is someone who manages to say something clever or touching or charming or real. And those are the people I generally cuddle with. It's not easy to make connections, you can't expect to match up with everyone.

    I respect the courage and persistence that it takes men to meet someone in online spaces, but no one wants to feel like they're at the business end of a bulk email effort.

    @Charabia

    I totally hear you.

    It is a vicious cycle, on both sides.

    @Charabia that is the clearest and most concise explanation of how a guy can break through the crowd of garbage messages. On behalf of guys who actually care to make an honest connection- thank you!

    Maturity counts when you are connecting with a woman. However, this also means that a woman should be mature enough to be able to connect on that higher level.

  • Yea I blame society and social media for way men have to be so wity or charming to not be rejected lol. I would say to men get your career, money, physical appearance and roster up. You will have the shoe on other foot

  • @timetocuddle07 have you actually read @Charabia's absolutely suberb post?

  • [Deleted User]CharlesThePoet (deleted user)

    Well, even Shakespeare counseled the men in his audience to, "Put money in thy purse.", so this is not exactly a new issue, nor one that can be attributed to our current society.

  • You can call it superb of you like but at end of day. Folks work on themselves this wouldn't be an issue or less folks to cuddle here

  • @timetocuddle07 I find your post so ironic about men portrayed by society and social media. My office is located next to Victoria Secrets HQ here in Central Ohio I drive by it twice a day. I know poor me. :). They have a giant LED bright billboard if you will at car level at the entrance. I will let you use your imagination what they display there lol...think soft porn.

    @Charabia

    Also, your profile is basically awesome.

  • [Deleted User]Zaxsis (deleted user)

    @Charabia, Exactly. After all, you are dealing with another human being who is a woman and does not want to be objectified. By the numbers, it is that narrow 1% where you really do truly connect

  • Thanks for sharing your experience and suggestions, @Charabia
