Stopping email notifications

 I'm receiving an email every time someone messages me and it's becoming overwhelming I've tried to turn off notifications in my settings and on Facebook but that hasn't worked anyone know how to turn those off thank you

I suggest that you contact Mark. It's possible that he can unsubscribe you from emails. He is the website support.

it's just too many when you're talking with someone and every time they respond you get an email LOL

Hello VintageGal. We have a new feature in our next batch update that will address this by firstly only sending an email if a message is genuinely unread, and then an option to let you limit emails to one per day or one per week.

In the meantime I would recommend setting up a filter/rule with your email provider so that emails from us automatically go to a folder in your inbox which you can periodically check.
