How does everyone feel about this topic? I am very very comfortable cuddling with ANYONE who wants to reach out. EVERYBODY deserves to feel like the are worthwhile.
I don't feel comfortable doing it myself, but that's my stuff. As a general principle I'm strongly in favour. There are lots of people here who do it.

I agree with you but we must also love people where they are at. Not everyone can hug the same gender and that is okay and also respected. 🤗
I totally agree with that views shared on this topic! I am open to hugging and cuddling all genders but respect the choices of others who may not be!!!🤗

The mixed feelings of liking the warmth and human contact, but also with the fear of sexual assault, probably approximates what every woman feels cuddling a man.
@Connecticut1977 So nice to see another man who cuddles with men! I’m equally nurturing to everyone. I just love to cuddle! I suppose it’s easy for me to cuddle with men since I’ve shared so much intimacy with men in my life, and maybe it’s easy for me to cuddle women because I don’t have to overcome social conditioning to be intimate with women.
I do feel for men who have been taught that it’s not okay to cuddle with men. I had to fight my way out of a rubble heap of social conditioning to realize I loved men and wanted to be with them even though it went against the rule. If I can come out as gay, though, I have hope for men to come out as cuddle bros! 🤗
From what I hear, most women have no problem cuddling other women, but if you’re a woman who has to overcome conditioning to do it, more power to you! Rosie the Riveter says “We can do it!” 💪😉
I’m not forgetting about our gender diverse siblings, either. I hope you get all the cuddles you desire. 🫂

I've never cuddled with someone who identified as female, and have no clue if I'd like it beyond us being squished on a sofa watching a movie together. But laying in a bed...? I just don't know that I'd feel comfortable...
Maybe if I were the big spoon...? Or if they were emotionally distraught and just needed to be held...?
Honestly, I've never been in the situation to seriously contemplate it, so I really don't know other than my instincts saying it might be awkward
But I'm not opposed to trying sometime and seeing what happens.

COVID considerations aside, I can, will, and have cuddled with everyone.
I try not to judge anyone beyond their own actions, so I truly don’t care about labels and honestly find them boring.
I simply want to be around people that want to be around me.
And those people who trust me tend to fall asleep snuggled up against me or within the circle of my arms.

I’m open to anyone that wants to cuddle !!! I had to learn to overcome some things that I was raised with. When I was very young I noticed that none of the males in my family would hug another male but I had seen other families do it.! So I learned it is OK.

Most heterosexual men are not socialized to touch other men, except perhaps a handshake. For women, it is totally different. As usual everyone who responds to this topic always says they are totally open to it.
I have had cuddly social female friends with whom I can cuddle. A few of them, we have shared a bed when traveling to a weekend event.
I’ve contacted a few women here on CC who said they cuddled women. I thought maybe if I found a female cuddle buddy that might solve the problem I was having with pushy men. However, even though they expressed an interest, it never happened.

@UKGuy you hit the nail on the head right there! So accurate and also so unfortunate sometimes. If you are a male who who feels uncomfortable with platonic snuggling with another male, that is %100 ok of course. Totally respect all perspectives here as there is no wrong answer or one size fits all to cuddling.
