Has anyone ever accidentally & honestly ever found love through cuddlecomfort.com?

Has anyone ever accidentally & honestly ever found love through cuddlecomfort.com? Yes, I am wondering this. I think we all wonder it, but has any of us actually ever asked?

I was talking to someone the other night whom I have been talking to, on here for a few months & we briefly spoke about it. I do wonder... Not that I am after that, but I imagine it's bound to have happened.

Honestly that is one of the main reasons I can't fully let myself go in cuddle sessions. I am scared to death that I'll catch feelings & the other person won't feel them also.

I have always been someone who falls easily & fast & hard. So, naturally I am afraid. So, if someone that I have cuddled in the past is reading this, & I was weird, this is why! Or you smelled. :bleep_bloop:

If you have ever fallen for your cuddle buddy please share your story! I'd love to hear :)

  • Believe it or not, 2 cuddlers fell in love & got married the very first day they met here … now I feel like I have to find this thread with their personal link to their website lol, & yes years later they were still happily married traveling the country in their mobile home …

To answer your question more specific … I’m literally just like you, & when I first joined here I was very vulnerable, so that didn’t help lol, I had the biggest crush on one of the cuddlers I first cuddled on here … everything about her - I had a crush on the way she looked / the way she smiled / her intelligence / how sweet hearted she was / … her place was absolutely amazing / her taste in music was wow - literally everything … but I don’t think she had the slightest of a clue, I made sure lol, but I cuddled others before & after - & although I felt that closeness from others & feeling “wow, how can people do this since this is sooo emotionally intimate”, nothing ever compared, not even close to her … i could never bring myself to book her again, she’s literally my entire check list & it would have been one of those situations where one person is falling in love alone lol ( I get it )

  • Feelings... So messy and confusing sometimes... I think I may have thought I had, but it was a while back and the feeling wasn't reciprocated (nor was a relationship realistic). But cuddling in the friend zone is what I came here for, so it's all good. And if/when around each other, I'd still want to cuddle with them, without any expectations or hopes beyond having a good time with them. It all is what it is... or isn't...

  • I met someone on here that I really liked. He treated me so well and we hung out a few times, not in the cuddle mindset but in the actual getting to know each other mindset. It didn't work out, now I don't bother to try to date anyone. It's strictly a business for me until my online business gets customers and grows. I have found that most men on this site are much nicer than the ones I have met on Bumble though.

  • Yes. A pro cuddler I used to see had a client see her only one time, and then he became infatuated with her and declared that they were soul mates and he wouldn't leave her alone. He started waiting by her door and chase off other clients.
So yes its definitely possible to have strong feelings for someone you cuddle with. If you are not able to control yourself and think you may do this please don't cuddle with anyone. Its what makes some of them quit, and its what makes some of the ones that stay have a very hard edge because they want to protect themselves from that happening to them.

Yes. I came across a profile once that said the lady had stopped cuddling because she met the love of her life through the site. It was an older lady and it sounded genuine.

"Believe it or not, 2 cuddlers fell in love & got married the very first day they met here …"

Married the first day they met??

    @wigglehugs

In a way, I suppose I can't really relate because I can't really date in the foreseeable future. Most likely even if I really wanted to and the other party wanted too. I also know that I can't really be in love with someone I don't know like that as in in a dating context. So that makes the feelings superficial the times they arise and thus I don't let them occupy much space. Or have them dictate whether or not I cuddle someone.

Also I think if one is experiencing severe touch deprivation, loneliness, rebounding/recent unrequited break up, etc, then one may be more prone to exaggerate basic human decency. That, coupled with things like the intimacy, relaxation, and oxytocin of cuddling, along with perhaps some level of aesthetic atttaction: could lead to the way you, @wigglehugs et al feel about cuddling.

Though I'm not sure with what I know now, how I'd feel if I were ready to date.

Though I'd like to think that I'd find a way and still try to get my 'needs' met, if I was not having luck finding a compatible romantic partner. I believe you can mitigate the issue if you can work through your feelings. Or at least be mindful of what makes you susceptible to feelings that interfere with your ability to cuddle.

  • @Melancholy "A pro cuddler I used to see had a client see her only one time, and then he became infatuated with her and declared that they were soul mates and he wouldn't leave her alone. He started waiting by her door and chase off other clients." That sounds like some kind of mental illness and it must've been frightening for her. 😕

  • @Lovelight - yup, the very first day, infact within the very first hours …. I tried my best to find the link and post it & couldn’t find it … there are many here who know their story, so hopefully someone who personally knew them here or follows their story comes across this page : )

  • @cuddles_ndream nah, I believe you. Just find the story so odd and hard to believe. I suppose the stars aligned for them and there were sparks if it really happened. Like it must've been a coincidence if they got married as strangers and turned out to actually last.

I have not felt that kind of deep love with anyone I was able to actually cuddle from this site.
But I did find deep emotional love with someone I met on this site…but we were never able to meet. It was fully accidental and honest.

Found it! 😄 I was determined to 😂

& this is their personal website, more so hers, which chronicles their journey … was happy to see a recent update, I’ll def give it a read when I get a chance.

    Edit: website 78squarefeet.silvrback.com

  • @cuddles_ndream ohhh you shouldn't have... ☺️

    Damn... wow... 😅

I shall give it a read sometime. Something tells me they must've at least got to chat for sometime about how compatible they are. Anyway, I'm happy for them! 🙃

  • @Lovelight i had to 🌹

    Fairytales do come true ☺️

& yes I agree, I’m pretty sure they chat for sometime & everything matched up upon meeting, & they took a leap of faith …. I’m sooo happy for them 🌌

  • @cuddles_ndream aww! that is SO sweet! thank you for posting that for us! <3

  • @wigglehugs Ty so much 🙏🏻 🌌 ♥️

  • That's great for those guys but it seems totally inappropriate to establish a link between cuddling and dating at CC. The stalker story is probably much more likely, and we all need to discourage that from happening. Love will happen on its own. Let's keep looking towards the non sexual, celibate identity of cuddling. I don't know how many others feel this way, but I'm damaged from sexual experiences and would prefer platonic cuddling as the only safe way for me to seek physical affection today. I don't mean that it should not be discussed but we do need to preserve the ideal of platonic cuddling, and in fact enforce it.

  • I don’t see how this post establishes a link between cuddling & dating at CC … at all, it actually expresses fear of putting one self in a position to cuddle because of the intimate nature that cuddling is … “the stalker story” started out as yes to the question which was, “ Has anyone ever accidentally & honestly ever found love through cuddlecomfort.com?” … after the “yes” the story that follows was criminal… nothing about it was what the question asked … I actually wonder if the pro cuddler called the authorities besides just reporting here, a restraining order at minimum seemed very reasonable especially after reading, “ he wouldn't leave her alone. He started waiting by her door and chase off other clients. ” … this sounds more than 1 time, & 1 time alone would be 1 time too many … It seems people misunderstood the question.

  • There is a difference between saying what needs the site is intended to meet and telling two grown adults how they have to interact in order to be accepted in this community. If two people that meet for cuddling decide to become romantically involved that’s nobody’s business but theirs and they shouldn’t be shamed. Work isn’t intended for dating either but plenty of couples meet there as well. We don’t try to ban it or shame them either. I think the important thing is to keep the site from getting overrun by people who treat it like a dating site or worse (perhaps) a new Craigslist casual encounters. Because that’s a bigger community and it will swamp the primary purpose and make it nearly impossible for people to use it to get their cuddling needs met. But beyond the goal of keeping it a site to meet those needs, I don’t think we should be judgmental of people whose cuddling relationships turns into something else. Let’s just stress that no one should make the assumption that anything non platonic is a likely outcome. Its wrong to use this site to contact people with that specific intent. A similar situation might be LinkedIn. If someone goes on LinkedIn in order to find hot people to date, they are misusing the site and making inappropriate assumptions on how any possible interaction will be interpreted. That’s because the site is intended for professional networking. If you start hitting on your LinkedIn connections, that’s akin to (or exactly?) sexual harassment. Again, if people meet for a professional reason and happen to fall in love, they shouldn’t be accused of abusing the website and disrespecting the community because that wasn’t the intent of the original connection. So that distinction matters. It’s about intent not necessarily results. The result is no one’s business but the two involved. There are other issues around the landmine ridden process of a relationship changing from one form to a romantic one but that’s a separate subject from the ones concerning this website.

  • I only take issue with the fact that, as someone who absolutely needs to be focused on my own personal growth, and yet as an affectionate, touchy person still feels the need for physical contact, I come here for just that, not a relationship. And the problem is that 100% of the people in two big cities I've searched in are all clearly using this site as just another dating site. In my mind, if they are specifically and knowingly looking for a relationship, people should utilize one or all of the MANY existing dating sites that are for just that purpose, not coming here. And what's worse is, that I find women are not the best at being straight forward about what they're looking for, at least in my own personal experiences. I think it's detrimental to those who are looking just to cuddle for people who are knowingly looking to date to come here

  • I agree, people who are using this as a dating site are misusing the site just as those who are looking for non-platonic cuddling are misusing the site. If the person violates the terms of service, they should be reported. Otherwise, all you can do is screen people well, get to know them.

  • The trouble is that people are usually looking for more than one thing. And while they could use this site for cuddling and another for dating, many would probably rather have the same person provide both those needs. And where are they going to find that person? So I think we need to be tolerant towards a wider range of users. Cuddling should certainly be a primary need but there could also be others. As long as you express clearly what you’re looking for, there shouldn’t be a problem. As I mentioned, I think the primary goal is to prevent the site from getting overrun by people who are not primarily interested in cuddling. If that were to happen, it loses it’s ability to meet the needs of people looking for this intended purpose.

  • People are people. It's bound to happen, and it's perfectly normal.

As long as everyone is following the Terms and Conditions…

  • Maybe I’m an outlier but I allow myself to fall in love all the time but as quickly as I fall in love, I detach.

  • I’ve found platonic love here, as I now have two friends, each with whom I share a mutual love. With each friend, it took a few-to-several months to get to the point where we could say “I love you” to each other. I should clarify that I met both of them as an enthusiast, not as a pro. I did practice my pro techniques with one of them the first time we met, but I made it clear I was practicing, and I didn’t set the expectation that a friendship was not in the menu, so to speak.

I have not yet had a cuddle client with whom we both wanted the relationship to become a friendship, but if I ever do, I have a form for both of us to sign saying that we want to change the relationship from that of pro-client to something else. That would entail a waiting period of three months before seeing each other again in a non-professional capacity. That protects both parties from making a decision they might regret, and it protects the industry from becoming some kind of rent-to-own sort of deal where pros and clients are looking for love and abdicating therapeutic boundaries as soon as they “catch feelings.“

If both cuddlers meet each other as enthusiasts, I see nothing wrong with taking the relationship to another level as long as it’s not during the cuddle, since cuddling can induce biochemical feelings of love that aren’t necessarily based in reality. Since the point of this site is to find platonic cuddles, not romantic relationships, I think both parties should proceed with caution when considering getting involved with each other, and make sure this interest is completely mutual and either party can back out at any time and say “I thought I wanted that, but it turns out I don’t.”

I fall with my pro I'm very antisocial and have lack of communications and difficulties. I found out about cuddle therapy on google because I always search for cuddle. I suffered severe depression and and best plan I came up was to drown in the sea  because no one  will know If I commit suicide in Summer. in my religion to commit suicide you go to hell forever I can'tgo to hell .I have pelvic pain which destroyed my life which means I can't have sex unless I get treatment .1 year I haven't worked because of depression and hopelessness too many failures in my life with no achievemens if you test the affliction you understand I'm blind see life dark then came into lights.
first time when I met my pro she impressed me with excellent customer service and warm welcome I uesd to pay for sex but it makes me depressed because I don't feel the touch and compassion. it's first time in life i do proper cuddle.I always complain to her about my problems and curse myself every time I see her she's wonderful listener I'm very negative she stop me and calms me down with her heart. she gave me amazing care and support cuddling relief the pain I forgot all my worries, sadness and pains also I'm very nervous she gave me breathing exercises and sent me videos she arranged me with her life coach free session suddenly every time I see her i I stopped been negative and I completely changed my mind with 0 suicide thoughts. She is Greatest person I ever met she always never check the time and gives me extra minutes sometimes 20 minutes unless I tell her session finished. When I was struggling with money i asked her for discounts she made me cry with her kindness she gives me extra minutes 1 times she game me 50 minutes extra and return some of the money back  why i don't love her. she is a history for me she saved my life i I never knew I will love life when she started noticing i fall with her and scared not to see her in second lockdown she was ver concerned about me and said what you going to do she was ready to risk herself and give me session but I don't want her to be in trouble and get penalty fine for breaking the lockdown rule.

No need for drugs, drinks to treat depression human needs the touch and compassion. Now I work as a concierge wearing suits before coffee shops also big thanks to @CuddleDuncan how made CV for me

  • As amazing as cuddling is, it’s not for everyone. Cuddling can bring out a lot of feelings. Especially from individuals who are not used to those feelings. Is it possible to find someone here? Yes. Nothing is impossible. Cuddling with the hopes that something happens, well that’s not exactly the best way to approach cuddling. After a good cuddle session there is what I call a cuddle high. I stole this term from another pro. This is where an individual starts to think of things like, did that pro or client like me, and things like that. Give it time, it will pass. I also suggest to most not to not cuddle just one person. This will help eliminate most of these feelings. There is nothing wrong with a strong connection. I myself have grown to love a few clients and other pros but in a friendship way. Reading some of the comments like the guy that would chase of a pros clients all I can say to that is wow. Some people just can’t handle it and should shy away from it if they feel like that. Hopefully this made since.

@cuddler5617 this post expresses - not the hope for, but the fear of attachment… I agree with the rest & you give good advice … there are many here that, because of cuddlecomfort, they received their first cuddle ever, as well as the feelings that comes from being in a relationship which they unfortunately never had or haven’t had for a long time ect … at some point they stopped trying / gave up with the dating sites or in their social life, & found this to be a great alternative to get those emotional needs met, (just hoping to get those needs met & all of a sudden, they have this amazing person making them feel sooo special & cared for & that person also welcomes their embrace) at this point they’re in the moment & tend to forget, or not realize what it is) some are not just touched starved, but emotionally starved, you see “touch starved” more often because people don’t want to make themselves seem weak &/or vulnerable by saying emotionally… I believe 3 things happen than - 1) emotional Attachment 2) guilt (meaning wow, this is the only way I can feel cared for or give that care I so want to give to another person ) & 3) indifference (just happy to get those immediate needs met & moving right along which would be super ideal in every way) - (this is not to say that there isn’t a crowd that’s looking for something very casual, but I don’t wanna get off the topic.) if pros here were to talk freely, (which they would never do because they have respect for their clients & respect for privacy & vulnerability) they would each write ✍️ a chapter full of experiences of how vulnerable the clients really are, overall (not specific) & this is despite how much we try to say otherwise here, & they could than put together all their individual chapters together & the outcome would be a New York Times best Selling book 📖

Edit: both genders are subject to these vulnerabilities, felt it was important to point it out.
