Which video service do you use most for virtual cuddles and for initially getting to know a cuddler?

There are a large number of video apps which can be used on your phone or tablet to communicate via video with other people in your life, including with other cuddlers.

I am curious which video chat app you use the most, have had the most success with, and like to use the most.

    For other cuddlers - Zoom. I've never had any issues with it, and it's worked just fine. 😊

    For people that have my phone number, Whatsapp - same thing - no issues. 😊

    Never had a virtual cuddle, would consider it to connect with a couple out of state pros that I communicate with. Don’t completely know if it appeals to me though.

    I would suggest zoom. You don't want to use the ones that are closely linked to your social media for privacy reasons :)

    @Morpheus same what's virtual cuddle i read some pros charge that.is conversation without touch how do u enjoy that 😏.

    Why would I want to do a virtual cuddle??? Isn't that just like a ZOOM meeting? What's comforting about that?

    Overall, I have to agree with @FriendlyDDS and @Ahmedali999 I really just don’t see the appeal of a virtual session. We have gone to almost completely virtual meetings at work and the meetings aren’t nearly as constructive. I do understand that this may be the only possible option for some people and I respect that. For me personally though, virtual sessions aren’t appealing. I may consider them for people that I have met on here who live too far for me to see in person.

    Physically cuddling is of course always going to be a better option, but some people don’t have that option. I can understand why it seems almost useless to pay someone to talk to you over the phone or through video chat, but be thankful you aren’t in that situation to where you have no one to talk to or no one else you can connect with.

    Because of the confusion and misunderstanding of what makes a video chat awesome, I charge $10 for the first hour. A Skype session is whatever makes you comfortable! Some have the phone positioned so we’re chatting while laying down, or just simply sitting on a couch talking away. I’ve had some that like to sing with me, others play word games or board games. If anyone has suggestions, I’m certainly open to learning new ways to Skype!

    I use the virtual option some (by phone actually). There is one Pro that genuinely just makes me feel good to talk to. My RL situation is difficult and I work a lot so it’s nice to chat with someone you feel connected to without about a complicated relationship. Maybe it’s sad I don’t have a ton of close friends now but this option has been great for me. A little off topic but saw the comments, just old school voice over the phone for me works.

    I haven’t had what I would consider a virtual session yet, but for screening (ha ha, literally, I guess) cuddlers I haven’t met before, I’ve used Zoom and Google Meet. I’d be open to using Skype or others, too.

    For cuddlers, I've used Skype. For personal I've used zoom, whatsapp, Google duo, Signal and phone number.

    If the other person has a iPhone, I prefer FaceTime.

    None of the above.

    I only do in-person, physical cuddles.
