Hello, I have a question about deactivating my account. If I choose to do so for a short period, when I come back on and reactivate it, will I still have all my previous messages in tact? Thanks!

Also, if someone has sent me a message in the past, what happens if they try to send me a message once my account is deactivated? Will they get a notice? What will they see?
@Chattygirl yes, they should. If instead you want to be able to converse with the people you already had a conversation with, you can mute your account.
@Chattygirl No. While deactivated people are unable to message you and you won't show up in searches. But all your earlier messages will still be there when you come back. Also, muting has the bonus of being able to specify for how long you want it enabled.
