I recently helped start a Facebook group for people in the Melbourne and Victoria region of Australia.
"Cuddlers of Melbourne was created to cultivate a network of people in the Melbourne region (Australia) who appreciate non-sexual touch and platonic physical affection.
It's well known that positive touch can have a profound impact on your physical and emotional well-being. We believe that you shouldn't be required to be in a romantic relationship, and certainly shouldn't be required to have sex, in order to satisfy this essential need.
We want to create a safe space where people could talk about their experiences, share ideas, and make new friends. We are an LGBTQIA+ friendly group. It’s also a place where people can share articles, resources, and videos of interest."
