If you block someone and they try to send you a message, what will they see on their end? Will it look like the message went through, or will they get a notice? How does that work? Thanks
It will say something like sorry you cannot send a message as you have been blocked from this user, Something like that.
They will see a popup saying you have blocked them and they can't contact you.
Right now, hers says, "You cannot send a message to Chattygirl. Member has muted their account in order to take a break."

Folks are correct. If someone has blocked you, or you them, messages can't be initiated or sent by either party.
Some folks like to get creative and tag people in forums. That never ends well, btw.

@Letsholdeachoth - in the instance above, I was referring to folks who get into back and forth bickering and have a mutual warning from a moderator, after they've already blocked each other. It's the sniping and personal attacks that gets the ban hammer. Not the tagging.

I wish it could be modified to be more like Facebook where if we block someone they not only can’t message us but also can’t even find our profile, see our forum posts, etc.

And I’m sure there are a lot of people here that feel the same way about me.
IDK ~ Even people I wouldn't want to hang out with IRL sometimes share a perspective on here I wouldn't have encountered otherwise. I may not like it, or I fully disagree, but sometimes it's good to have a prompt to reconsider or examine my position.
Plus, once you block someone, neither will appear in the other's cuddle searches.

@DaddyKarma They first will notice you've disappeared from their friends list, maybe. They will probably go to the last message to get to your profile but it will show at the top where you'd book, this message: You cannot place a booking with this person as you or they have blocked you. Down further you won't see a message box and have a similar statement in its place. When they try to come over to your profile anyways it will not appear and this will be the message on their screen: DaddyKarma has blocked you.
Please note that attempting to circumvent a block will result in a permanent ban.
