Would you report this cuddler?

  • That does seem really odd. If she wanted to bring an escort she should have cleared it with you first especially if you were hosting. It's still your place and they're still a stranger suddenly in your place. It almost seems like they were there just as a scapegoat. If she wanted to leave early she should have definitely given you some money back, whatever the math calculated to after she left. That just seems really suspicious and honestly kind of rude. Unless you were making her uncomfortable somehow, this behavior is bizarre.

  • I say move on. She gave you a refund. If you ever booked her again and this happened again, I would say report her.

  • I am sorry that happened to you. She should have cancelled the session, and rescheduled. No person should bring an unannounced guest anywhere ( professional or not). Even a heads up should have been the minimal. If she was uncomfortable she should have terminated the session. As a professional being emotionally intelligent is a must. Knowing that one's own presence will have an impact on another human. She took advantage of you. You deserve a full refund. The amount of disrespect and lack of consideration is bonkers.

Unfortunately you cannot ban somebody for that behavior. I would contact one of the moderators for this website and see what your move should be.

It was a scam and pre planned deception.

Thinking a bit more about this, this is so much more than just bad business or a scam. It's a serious breach of client confidentiality! The pro has an expectation to honor client confidentiality, the friend who she bought along does not. By bringing a friend she potentially outed a client in a very egregious way. That in itself should be enough reason for the site to ban her. The OP didn't seem too worried about this aspect, so I, as many others, overlooked this at first. That notwithstanding, the seriousness of what happened here should not be overlooked. Please report this pro!

  • @AKW I am very sorry to hear about your unexpected cuddle experience but thank you very much for sharing. I hope that you have much better upcoming cuddle experiences.

The professional made a series of misjudgements here. She should refund you an additional amount to bring it to 50%, as only half the session went ahead.

Professionals are required to conduct sessions in a safe and suitable environment free of potential contagious illnesses. Allowing a friend to come back and interrupt a session who is ill wouldn't qualify as a suitable environment.

Furthermore, if there is going to be an extra person present during a session (e.g. for safety reasons), or nearby, professionals should let clients know prior to the session taking place.

  • I agree with Gary. 50% is fair in this type of situation.

  • I misread initially, I thought she stayed for 5 hours but now that I see it was only 3 and you paid for 8 hours with a minimum of 6, I think she should pay back 50%

  • It definitely sounds fishy and not handled appropriately, but we can’t assume someone’s motives. I vote report to at least have on file in case it becomes a pattern with others or something and leave the rest up to the site. And ask if a larger refund can’t be enforced. Depending on how you paid her you could dispute it. Up to you.

I can't believe people are seriously talking about a refund of 25%, 50%, or such when, quite honestly, anything less than a full refund is unacceptable.

The full refund can come in the form of another full 8 hour session in lieu of cash back, but I think it should be at the option of the client.

As the client, you hired a pro. Expect the service you would expect from a pro. Nothing less. When I screw up in providing a service, it's offered at no charge, and always with an option to redo it in full. If you are a pro charging on average a hundred bucks an hour, you just have to eat this cost of making good when things go wrong.

Were I the client, I would settle for nothing less than a full refund, or a properly done 8 hour session, but at at my option. Yeah, she worked three hours, but so what. She breached confidentiality by bringing a friend in the first place. Whatever agreement she has about minimums, etc, should not apply. She bills herself as a pro on here, and it is important that her clients set a high standard of acceptable behavior for professionals.

I haven't hired a pro for 8 hours, but if I do hire someone for 8 hours, it's because I need an 8 hour session. A three hour session would not meet my needs and it would not do me any good. If the pro ends the session after three hours through no fault of mine, I am not willing to pay for the time. Give me a makeup eight hour session, or don't charge me.

  • Hire her again and bring a friend to cuddle her too. For the price of one.

  • @FunCartel lmao that’s hilarious

Scam, plain and simple. Like RayWah said, it was premeditated deception. Bringing a friend unannounced, a sick friend no less, was completely unacceptable and a serious boundary violation. A full refund is in order.

Report and leave a one-star review.

  • @FunCartel I laughed hard on that one :-)

  • @FunCartel Hahaha! You never cease to amaze us with your humor!😂

  • This was a set up by her. Plain and simple. Who drags their sick friend or any friend, for that matter, to a cuddle? Please be aware of your surroundings as I’m concerned there may be some ulterior motive to all of this by the pro and her friend. Report her ASAP. I would go so far as to drop her name if she’s on here so others can be vigilant as well. Stay safe

  • I agree with CuddlesByDeep about the privacy / confidentiality aspect of a “pro” bringing a friend along. I would never divulge any personal information about any cuddle partner period. Taking a friend to the home of a pro who hosts cuddles would be a huge violation of trust just as this “pro” taking a friend to the clients house is a huge violation of trust.

  • I became aware of this situation when reading your karma before coming upon your post in the forum. I'm glad you did choose to share your experience both in the forum and via Karma.
Without outing this individual, I think there is some more important context to share that may help people avoid future situations like this.

    • The "Pro" who you hired joined less than a month ago. Her friend who is also a "Pro" became a member in June (hourly rate is $40 which is very low for the area) and the girl you hired likely just recently joined after being told it was a quick way to make money. They both have very brief profiles and offer long sessions for very little money considering industry standards.

      • Your "pro" charges $50 an hour and $75 an hour for both her and her friend. Her "overnight" offering is $200 for 8 hours, which as you said is 50% off her normal rate.
    • They are both quite young which isn't necessarily prohibitive of being a good cuddler, but it does mean they've had less time to learn the importance of professionalism in any industry and I believe that shines through in your experience.

"After a while of “texting her friend” i said Again I’m not holding you but it’s not fair and i deserve Some money back. She was saying her sick all of a sudden friend had a session the next day and would send me 25 % of the total back."

^^^ This piece along with the friend coming in the first place almost sounds like the friend took and potentially spent your payment while you were having a session which would be why the money wasn't immediately refunded. If the friend showed up 'sick' a few hours later but planned to conduct a cuddle session the following day, the money may have been spent on drugs. This is total speculation on my part, but it would make sense given the friend needed to do a session the next day in order to partially refund you.

It sounds like you received $50 back and I saw that she offered to give you $50 more in response to your karma which would be half of the session total. I believe she thought a 25% refund was fair as $150 would have been her normal rate for three hours. The whole experience is so cringeworthy that I wouldn't have felt comfortable keeping your money at all, but I'm guessing that was her rationale.

The entire experience was totally unprofessional from start to finish. I don't know if they had other motives or not. They both have so little karma that it's hard to get a good read. She may never repeat the same behavior, but I also doubt her professionalism will change overnight. She has very little experience among other red flags so I'd chalk it up to a lesson learned and seek out pros who value and provide true professionalism in the future. This is a reminder that both clients and professionals can be diligent about vetting those they agree to cuddle with.

** I don't think price is necessarily indicative of the quality of a cuddler, both on the low or high ends of the spectrum. I believe everyone is free to charge what they sit fit and clients are free to book with pros that charge rates the client is willing to pay. **

  • @calmcontact I'm the only person I said, they just have a bad habit and have no clue about customer service, in my above comment I said if she have u %25 refund at least better than nothing, I will forgive her, but little lesson is good for her to learn ☝️that's why some pros need training, they don't know how to treat clients, make him comfortable ect but some pros without training, they have good customer service experience and high moral ect

  • I totally agree @Ahmedali999

I prefer to believe in the good in people and understand we all make mistakes and learn lessons from time to time. I'm glad that she gave him at least a partial refund and offered to give him more after he left bad karma. That makes me more inclined to believe it was a bad day and a set of circumstances that she just didn't know how to navigate smoothly. It's likely that she wants to improve and offer a better experience in the future.

You're right that some people already possess customer service skills and others don't which is why I think training can only ever help people to become better, and in some cases may be more needed.

@calmcontact i believe now she has learnt her lesson, her karama must be removed, some people did bad things to me in my life☝️ i have mercy on them and give second chance, even if they evil 😈 still i don't want their business to be destroyed, I'm %100 sure she learnt, sometimes I do big mistake and some human don't forgive which makes life terrible place to live. I know she made big mistake but she learnt her lesson.bad karama will destroy her business.

  • I’m curious to know how female pros would feel if your client showed up with a friend and asked if he could use your bathroom and then the friend knocked on your door a couple hour into the session. How would you feel if your client cut the session short and didn’t pay you the full price. I’m not trying to start an argument, just asking. If we are to forgive the pro in this case, then clients should be forgiven as well, right?

  • Who’s “we”? 🤔

  • @Morpheus was using the figurative “we”.

  • I respectfully disagree.

  • That’s kinda my point. If a client did that to a pro, it would be some BS.

  • I think any rational person would say “it would be some BS” either way . So what’s the point being made ? Clients are better than Pros? Pros are better than Clients? I don’t understand the point of reversing the story. Neither one looks good in that position.

  • edited November 2021

Not that hard to grasp. @Morpheus is simply saying what if the shoe was on the other foot. No where did he even introduce modifiers or insinuate that one is better than another. I don’t see how one could come away with anything other than we need to be equally forgiving of client or pro. That is simply a statement of equality.

This is much ado about nothing as far as his post goes. No reason to grind on him.

  • @FunCartel you’re just repeating my point with a thinned veil disguise that we have clients here who are envious of pros success. It’s immersed sometimes openly and other times more discrete. Let’s dispense with the pleasantries and get to the root of the discussion that some clients on this site don’t like paying for cuddling. Furthermore they will use any thread to interject that complaint. This is just one example of that.
