I think the concerns from clients about their identities have Been presented peacefully. I’m no lawyer but the contract protecting the pro cuddler here certainly favors the pro , but I think it’s as strong as wet toilet paper . IMO it’s a waste of time , altho the acceptance from clients , the real time clients and not the discussion thread clients , would determine it’s practicality.
I'm not quite sure I understand the contract being presented. What is someone actually signing for? It seems like the intent of the signature is that you will not sue the pro if you get injured during the session? Or is there some intent to sue the client if they break the terms listed?
I saw it, at least in part, as both sides acknowledging the boundaries in writing, as opposed to just a verbal agreement.
@Brandi you make some valid points and I appreciate your honesty and well written viewpoint.
I would never sign ANY contract or provide an ID. Cuddling is not a medical necessity that i must do with a pro. I do it for fun and relaxation, a contract would make it an obligatory exercise under duress and it wont be relaxing any more. Doctor’s clinics or physical therapists who require a contract and ID are established businesses with office address and a business license. Pro cuddlers do not have an address and a business license so they cant be equated with documented businesses.
Continuing this line of thought, can i ask pro cuddlers, who require me to sign a contract, to provide me their tax id and a legitimate receipt of payment that ensures they pay tax on their cuddling income?
As far as someone suggested to hide all information on ID except for full name and photo so in case of an unfortunate event law enforcement can be contacted, that objective can simply be achieved by accepting payment through venmo or cashapp. In case of an unfortunate event the law enforcement can reach the person through those payment services.
I would never cuddle with anyone requiring a contract and ID.

Bumping this.
Folks - keep it on topic. Disagreements are one thing, but lay off the personal attacks. Much obliged.
Hey,
In my opinion, the safety concern is always a dilemma here. A contract may or may not help you.. but also think about the cuddle time from the time you enter, cuddle, and leave - how you can try to ensure safety with that
I think telling a friend to check in during, and after the session is important; but also making it clear to the person you're cuddling with that a friend will be checking in on you during the session. That way, even if they had intentions of pushing boundaries in a session with you, they would likely stay away. You could even say they'll be picking you up after
This can't guarantee safety of course, but at least makes the cuddler know you're taking steps to have someone there for you in the cuddle session being planned, if needed
Stay safe everyone!
@RayOfHope certainly you can ask for tax payer ID and an Invoice . upon receiving the cuddlers comtract , simply cross out the items you find objectionable, and write in your own clause (s) , and send back to the The pro and get them to review and initial the changes , and to send the contract back with their signature ( their signature first)
No, 100%. That contract is crazy. I don't think you will get as much clients as you wish with that contract.
Yes, I am business owner and cuddling is my business. Having a client sign a contract as to what is expected and allowed is beneficial to both, I use a contract similar to this. People who want to share space with you and remain anonymous possibly don't realize the risk that we are taking getting up close and personal to a stranger, therefore we don't want to be strangers anymore once we are meeting for the first time. I would be suspect of anyone who doesn't want to sign a contract and put the pro at ease for their personal safety - it is about the comfort and safety of both parties.
@Brandi made so many good points! Brava. We are not researching clients or doing background checks, we only want the real person info if things go bad - not "Grabby123" from Cuddle Comfort and now it's deleted and I have no idea who that really was if something illegal was done to me or my property. Their actual name. And hopefully this prevents bad actors from trying to push sexual boundaries or worse because our check in person has your name if anything bad happens to us. It's all really for a just-in-case scenario that hopefully is never needed. And that's why ID is needed.
Personally I don't ask for the drivers license to be sent to me but I look at it when the contract is signed, it's shocking how many people give fake names to book a cuddle which in itself makes me go hmmmm. If I'm booking with a therapist or a doctor it has never occurred to me to give a fake name so why does anyone do that to see a pro cuddler who is so vulnerable?
No offense but if I try to set an appointment with a pro cuddler and they come up with a contrac CLARIFY, ill respectthat ( thank you but not thank you) I'll skip to the next pro cuddler.
And yes, it is a business in a rented office, I do pay my taxes and I have an address where my business is located. If a clients wants to see my ID I am fine with that! But I will obscure my address because the WHOLE reason I don't cuddle in my home is because I don't want everyone to have my address! There are really some creeps and crazies out there, it just takes one to have life altering results. Please please please try to grasp that. If a client wants to obscure their address when they show me their ID that's fine, too. I just want to see that the name and face match in an official capacity and then I can relax and focus all my attention on them. I found it a good point that on CC the karma may in fact be from SWs who are happy with jons for all I know, we all know that is going on here. I want to be absolutely clear that I am not involved in any of that and I do my own veting, please respect that.
@jkay I tried to message you to chat about getting procedures but it seems you are unable to receive messages right now
I don’t ask for ID or a contract but I do ask new clients to have sessions in a hotel for a neutral location.
I do not host and I will not go to a strangers house.
This gives me confidence that their name and ID info/ CC info is on the hotel booking (unless they go to elaborate lengths to avoid that) & that my safety contacts now that if I don’t message them by a certain time to call the front desk and ask for a room check for my safety.
I also feel more confident that if something bad were to happen there’s a higher likelihood of someone hearing me in a hotel and a higher likelihood of me being able to get out and immediately get help.
Everyone who’s acting like pros are being too extra with their screening process don’t understand the potential dangers we face. Especially as women meeting up with men who are strangers.
My first experience on here was so bad and so dangerous that I didn’t have another session for over a year because of the ways I felt unsafe and felt violated by my client.
Cuddling is a source of extra income for me — not my sole source of income — so I don’t care if people are deterred by my boundaries. I’d rather have a small amount of clients that I feel very safe and comfortable around than accept a lot of clients & feel like I’m constantly putting myself at risk.
@lavenderbubbles who pays for hotel? If a session cost $100 + Clint pay another $100 to book for hotel I'm confused Only rich clients can afford that.
@Ahmedali999 haha, that's my way of thinking. That's already lot of money
What @Chris04 said, some clients would do the same as you said. I think if she meets different pros would be more useful for her.
@Chris04 🤣🤣 it's i wouldn't pay for session + for hotel.
I have actually seen a handful of pros who primarily do hotels. Sometimes they offer a discount or free extra time if you are paying for the hotel.
@lavenderbubbles Im so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. My thinking in renting my own office for work is along the same lines as someone hearing me and those are my building neighbors who know me. This eliminates the expense of hotel and the cost is dispersed in my rate. Also, please don’t ever tell me my rate is too high! Subject for another day but a little peeve of mine. The amount of overhead in being a professional is not small.
☝️What's the purpose of you been a pro cuddler ? Is it just to make money or helping others who have lack of touch. Feel welcomed, ect.
Im sorry for you it's very confusing to have advices from here
It's better to do training you will have all the answers .
There's no 100% protections against crimes, meeting strangers always it's dangerous, take precautions, confidence, risk to meet strangers, if you not comfortable meeting strangers pro cuddling might not for you. It's just a gamble risk.
And there's only 1,2% of risk it's just matter of luck.
@Ahmedali999 it really doesn’t matter if a pro chooses or requires a hotel, if its not for someone than move on to someone who doesn’t require it, there’s a market for everyone.
@cuddles_ndream i don't have problem for hotel☝️ but i have problem for paying for the hotel, example I already paid for session why I'm going pay hotel, I agree if it's not for me i move to some don't require to pay for it.🤗
I got to say I agree %100 to what @Ahmedali999 said. In last 2 comments.
@Chris04 🍪
Do whatever it is that you think you need to do to feel safe. Just realize that you are going to lose some potential customers. If that’s OK then this should be fine. I think a lot of people pay for cuddling begrudgingly. It’s not just the money. It’s the feeling that the person meeting you might not be interested if you weren’t paying them money. The more businesslike it is, the more it feels like visiting the dentist, the less authentic it feels. There are lots of ways of vetting the person and communicating the rules without a formal contract. The real benefit of a contract is that you can file charges or sue more easily if you are assaulted or similar. Any lawyer would tell you that you shouldn’t be doing any business transaction without a contract. If you think of this as a business, you might want to take their advice. But why takes chances with your safety anyway? Contracts are good for dealing with repercussions. There are probably some other, better ways of preventing those encounters in the first place. Having to give an ID will dissuade some potential abusers but not all.
@Chris04 it's the reality. There are many reasons why people need cuddles, they want feel welcomed, comfortable, valued. The basic necessary precautions are important ☝️ over requirements can make the person unwanted, unwelcomed, ect When i did virtual video with my pro she made we happy, relaxed, felt very comfortable. Only took 2 minutes.
The giving ID it's dangerous, people can ues your ID to for lots things, for example, fraud, If someone got train penalty fine, he can give your details to the inspectors and adress you be ****, peopl can commit crimes such as fraud then u be in trouble. Or letters fine.
1 time a court detected $500 from my salary, when I called to find out why, they said you have penalty fine of car park you haven't made, i was so angry 😡 I don't have a car why you take money from me, they apologised and gave me back the $500, someone was using my details. I checked my payslip before the company i uesd to work with sometimes they steal hours so they pay less .
Some pros are very safe to give personal details but not everyone, very risky
Fraudsters can empty all your life savings if just they have your ID details or commit crimes with it.
Oh my gosh this blew up a lot more than I expected 😳
I am perfectly ok with losing potential clients after requesting ID. People are complex and require different things to feel safe. This includes cuddlers and clients. This is just what I need, I'll lose no sleep over it. That's why we're free to decline anyone on this site and meet with whoever we "click" with.... People can be amazing, absolute joys to be around, and some people simply aren't for many reasons. Even public crowds don't dissuade some creeps from taking advantage, so I'll request ID, give mine over and use the tips @jacobnav602 suggested. @Jkay I'll be messaging soon❤ Thank you @Mare_Bear and @lavenderbubbles.
@tinam00n Nothing wrong with asking for a pic. I think most people were objecting to the contract. But yes, do what you need to do to feel safe.
@dave31415 and @FunCartel I appreciate your advice and thoughts. I think there's definitely room for improvement in what the contract states and how terms are presented, if I even have people sign at this point. It's not a typical business but it does function like a business in some ways so I'll be talking to more pros and cuddlers.
Phew, have a good night everyone! I can tell y'all were heated in these comments.
