I always start with, "How much does a polar bear weigh?"
But everyone else has given great advice too... Maybe I'll try some of those suggestions instead...
Lots of great advice here. Whether I'm reaching out to a pro or enthusiast I always start with, "I enjoyed reading your profile..." and then go into what resonates with me. I started off cuddling with pros to find my "level" so to speak with the whole platonic thing, but have found myself reaching out to more enthusiast as of late.
Transference is a very real phenomenon given our bodies chemical reaction to touch. So take time to mentally unpack what boundaries and consent mean to you -- as well as your partner. I've had some illuminating conversations on the subject that have made me a better cuddle partner. I've also had partners with distinctly different ideas on the subject with no two being exactly the same.
At the end of the day its all about kindness, respect, holding a safe, non-judgmental space, and truly listening to what your partner's expectations are for the encounter.
From what I read in your profile and in this thread, seems like you are a great person. In my experience, finding a suitable cuddle partner takes patience. So give yourself a little time.
Peace and blessings.
@herby357 what a thoughtful response!!! So much good stuff here from everyone! 😊

@Babichev
do you have an easier way to come up with thread titles (as opposed to responses) that talk about a certain topic? Sometimes its nice to look back at threads that had similar discussions but different insight. If you just put in the word to search it gives you too many options.
You send them a polite message proposing the idea AFTER you have spent time getting to know them first. Invest in friendship. Don’t bring up meeting to cuddle in the very first message.
Just get comfortable with it like dating. Be respectful.
