London cuddle party?

Any people in the London area interested in participating in a cuddle party? Where 6-8 us meet for cuddle sessions? This could be a hosts place or a large room booked in a mutually convenient place in central London perhaps?

  • Cuddle events can bring out very deep emotional responses from people, which may be unexpected. If you are serious about this I strongly recommend you get some training or arrange for a trained facilitator, to make sure that everybody is safe. (The exception is when all the participants already know each other well.)

Safety itself is of course a question on its own. You need a plan to deal with a bad actor.

There is only one workshop that I know of running at the moment in London, Touch Project:

Next one is a week on Sunday.

Anna Fortes is not currently running her suberb group, but may start up again one day:

Last I heard Stella was running her group online, but I haven't checked recently:

  • Thank you so much Duncan. This is actually really important and relevant. You have brought up some issues that I didn't consider - a bad actor. Here's me assuming everyone would be on the same page - how naive of me!... I am looking at getting trained.

  • Excellent! :)

It does happen, sadly. I was once at a workshop and somebody took photos through the glass in the door. They were gone before we could catch them unfortunately.

There is a slightly old thread on the Professionals board about training courses.

  • Thanks for the feedback, CuddleDuncan. This is Adam. I am one of the trainers for Cuddle Party. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about training and certification.
