I was at my computer last night just trying to think about some movies I’ve watched in the past, not necessarily about cuddling or touch deprivation, but is in the movie at some point and just good movies that have moved me. I quickly remembered one and watched it again for the 10th time. It’s called “Powder”. It doesn’t matter how many times I watch it, I’m in tears by the end. There is a scene with him and actor Jeff Goldblum, that shows the touch deprivation he endured, because he was different. I highly recommend you watch it if you’ve never seen it. The pictures aren’t the best quality, but you can see what I’m talking about.
I know it’s just a movie. But it talks about how everything is connected together somehow.
Have you seen any movies that just move you every time you watch them?
I cant think of any movies right now but there were a few books I read in the past like I, Coriander that describe the effects of touchstarvation. And I have personally witnessed some similar responses fro myself friends when I go to hug them or touch their face they just sort of sag or melt and try not to make it obvious but it always breaks my heart to know that touch starvation is such a real problem

Thinking about it, I think I seen this movie … I was probably a kid when I watched it but is this the movie where his mom gets struck by lighting while She’s pregnant with him, & In the end he runs & goes back to the cloud? For some reason I think this is the movie, but If it is I’m more excited to watch it now

I watched Castaway once, would watch again. Though I remember watching that Will Ferrell movie with the soccer... Kicking and Screaming. I think I was in a hospital then, good memories... I mean the movie. Luckily the hospital stay wasn't too shabby.
There was also one with a dragon and people, seemed interesting. Homeless to Harvard is also a nice one.
