Well hey, if it's predatory to hold an adult accountable for the problematic things he says, and the manipulative tactics he employs—sure! I'm totally a predator.
I will continue to prey on those who share horrible stories that leave many people aghast; stories where people become indignant when their cuddle partner takes issue with being groped; stories where an individual tries to keep a fellow cuddler around against their will; I'll rip apart comments that are blatantly sexist; I will no longer hold my tongue when someone tries to use accusations of "racism" when all that is happening is that they're being critiqued for whatever awful thing that they just said; and I assure you (dear reader), wholeheartedly, that I will tear into people who try to manipulate others by way of using suicide like a prop.
Sure, I'm a predator. But at least I'm not a disingenuous, sniveling worm who thinks that poisoning the well works all the time—no matter what. Or an intellectually dishonest windbag who seemingly has an imperative need to be seen as having taken the moral high ground. Or a coward who won't address those they've got beef with, like some kind of quivering-lipped child.

I started this thread to discuss universe consciousness. I’m disappointed that it has become so derailed, but I’m not surprised. I’ve been here long enough to see what human interaction on the internet often becomes.
Congratulations, all, for turning another discussion into a train wreck. I’m getting tired of this, really tired. If it were up to me, I’d totally shut down the forum. It appears that this community is incapable of maintaining civilized discussions. I’m not willing to continue to be the school monitor for a bunch of kids that can’t figure out how to play nice with each other. I’ve got two choices: either shut down every discussion at the very first hint of controversy or just let them go and you all free to make whatever mess you want. I’m going to have a discussion with the other mods about this because I, personally, will not continue to moderate under these conditions.
