When Your Profile Becomes An Autobiography

What are everyone’s thoughts? Lay it all out there, or keep it short and sweet, but enough to get the point across?

I’m usually the latter, but I’ve gone and filled out a whole character sheet.

  • Your profile looks great to me.

I have seen a handful of profiles which I felt were a bit long (yours isn't even close to that), but much more common are the ones that are far too short.

  • For pros, I think it’s important to have everything laid out. Mine is extra long because I have my YouTube put up, my cuddle positions, close driving areas in Florida and my Skype options. With all of that added on top of paragraphs describing who I am, what our cuddle will entail and warning the sexual predators to back off, it’s a pretty big profile. But honestly, if I lose cuddlers because of the length of my profile, I wouldn’t want to cuddle with someone that doesn’t have patience to read anyways 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • "Keep it short and sweet, but enough to get the point across." Yes. 😌

  • Having read your profile, there are tad bits that I deem as unnecessary or kinda redundant. Though it otherwise looks good! :)

  • @bb_hippo Welcome to the site and the wonderful world of cuddle comfort ~

Regarding profiles, I don’t think there is a one size fits all. I absolutely love seeing profiles which are unique and interesting. Enjoy both long and short and sweet profiles and especially appreciate availability of need to know information. When connecting with someone more information can give me an introduction to who they may ‘be,’ by way of facts and adjectives expressed though experience tells me actually speaking with or spending time with someone gives me the real read.

I know you aren’t exactly asking for critique of your profile but I will say it looks great, is very informative and I respect the work you do within your community.

Good luck and all the good vibes your way 😊

  • One of my university professors introduced me to the miniskirt rule of writing: long enough to cover what needs to be covered but short enough to keep it interesting.

    @nurturingman I love this approach!

Mine is forever and a day long... I don't know how to be both "short" and "sweet" ~ which is disclosed in there...

    ⚠️ :Warning: ⚠️
Much like this profile, my messages are often unrestrained, take forever to compose, and may be full of TMI. If your preference is 'short & sweet' you may only be half pleased, as I'm quite tall. 😉

... but I do appreciate those traits in others as well as fun details....

So maybe, C. Short and sweet in a fancy/one of a kind mini skirt??

  • There are several places on the internet where people can post photos, and invite others to look and critique. Wouldn't it be nice if we could also post our profiles that way, and find out how people react to them?

  • I love long, unique profiles. Yours is great. Especially the vagabond thing. 😂🙂❤️

  • Thanks for the kind and welcoming responses, everyone. Also, thanks for taking part in the survey.

@Mela_B — I went to check that vagabond thing out and realized I didn’t even keep the original sentence where the error was made. I’m leaving it that way. 😅

  • @bb_hippo yay 🎉 🙂

  • @nurturingman I am keeping the mini skirt method in mind. How catchy and clever 🤪
