Pros without much in their profile page

What's the deal with pros who either don't respond to requests, or have almost nothing in their profile?  
Are they actually pros!?  do you have to use secret keywords to get them to reply?   All I ask people is what their rates are and if they can host (since their profile doesn't say anything...)
and weeks go by without a response...but you can see they log in.

    There are several pros that don't reply and have no karma yet they seem to log in often. Hmmmmm???

    Yeah its weird...like not sure what the point of going pro is if you just lurk.

    Well maybe they are not lurking and maybe the request that their clients do not give them Karma so as to keep a low profile.
    You never know.  Reading between the lines is a difficult thing at times.
