• Visit the profile of anyone you're thinking about cuddling. • Look at their karma. • Message the people who left it (if you think they may have lied out of politeness or fear).

@Soft_Laura you are right to be cautious. The sad truth is that virtually all of the people you are not sure about do not deserve the benefit of the doubt. At the first hint of trouble - or even just suspicion - Block and Report. The mods here are very good at dealing with undesirables.
Always look at Karma. It's not an infallable guide, but it's a lot better than nothing. If it's somebody you might be interested in meeting, follow the Karma through and see what you think of the person who wrote it. I'm in London: I don't know the men but I do know many of the women. There is a message from me buried in your inbox somewhere and I'm happy to help.
Be especially careful with people who are new and/or have no Karma. Many of them are delightful, obviously, but some have not yet learned what 'platonic' means.
