I was pregnant for a time with a former partner in 2021. I miss it deeply. I craved affection and snuggling (mostly with my partner, whom I adored) and motherhood, which itself can be so snuggly too if your child enjoys it. As for snuggling a pregnant person…I have not. I have snuggled a woman who lost her baby a few summers back. This was prior to my own pregnancy loss, so I became so emotional going through that when I did. I connected with her emotions that I remembered holding space for.
I have snuggled while pregnant many times. It is sweaty 🤪😂.
My normal self is chronically cold. My pregnant self is a furnace. My enjoyment of cuddling was different with each pregnancy.
My heart goes out to all the pregnancy loss mamas (and dads) here and everywhere 🥺. Virtual hugs and comfort to you.
