@mike403 I definitely don't like what has happened with everything at Blizzard. I've just played since wotlk with many breaks in between and well it's been like a soother for me for years.
I tried to play FF recently and just couldn't get past creating my character. I guess I just lost interest. I currently go between PC games and the switch. I'm currently play that newish Kirby game that came out. I was thinking about playing the newish Tomb Raider that came out like a few years back.
@sunnysideup I thought the same thing, in my experience the Alienware laptop I bought has preformed above and beyond my expectations, and as far as cooling it's usually cool when I power it down. I did need the portability, but it was more of a space issue at my place. I have no where to set a tower. My desk isn't ideal for a tower either. If I put the tower underneath it, it would be messed with by one od my fluffy butt dogs, and I don't really want to set it on the carpet. In short you're right, my RTX 3080 is pretty equal.
@SunsetSnuggles I used to have an msi, it was amazing for the longest. I ended up having issues with it layer on. I finally upgraded to my Alienware when my msi died. It was a sad day. I loved that computer.
@Mike403 Oh goodness, I played FFXIV for days on end when I could afford the subscription. Sucked that the housing market was so incredibly funky but I hear they're making changes finally
@Mike403 I used to play Final Fantasy XI online and was stoked to see XIV come out. I was sad when I heard it had bombed with its initial release, but was blown away at how quickly they completely redid the game and I hear it’s awesome now. The only MMO I stuck with post FFXI was WoW, but I agree that the culture at Blizzard is bad and that has really turned me off to them recently.
Yeah blizzard/activision is pretty terrible. I stopped looking at their games after the first part of SC2 came out.
Diablo Immortal is a terrible pay-to-win cash grab. It requires you to spend $500k in real world dollars to max out a single character. I'm not joking. To play different classes and level them all up, you'd be spending millions of dollars on one game. It was originally supposed to be a mobile(phone/tablet) only game, but got ported to PC.

Yeah, I loved WoW with a passion, but each xpack and company change hurt the game. Played since 07' and stopped about a year ago. I am curious about the Dragons race/class, otherwise idk. It is dying to me. Looking for the next good thing. Hopefully Star Citizen pulls thru, otherwise back to modded ARK and modded Factorio.
Mike, that is an awesome set up!!!!!! I just have a gaming laptop! But it has a cool keyboard :P I used to play WOW way back! More recently I have played ESO! But even that’s been awhile! I’ve heard a lot of good things about the new expansion and was thinking about getting back into it! But then I heard that there’s so many angry people right now because they just completely nerfed everyone! So now I’m not so sure lol
