Why wont my picture show on my profile

I recently changed my main profile pic, however my username seems to only want to display the generic avatar that generates, as though I dont have a profile pic when I indeed do. I have the pic starred like I always do, and all my pics are marked public , not private. I've been here 7 yrs and haven't had this issue before . Please help . @mark @Gary

Yeah, I noticed after changing mine that the avatar didn't change for 2-3 days. Idk.

@pmvines same here!! I also recently changed a new photo and it has been almost a week that I do not see my photo on the icon.

That's really odd.
@pmvines @CuddleBarista1 @KYtransplant the pictures still show up in your profiles still but just not on the default photo. 🤔 curious what could be causing that

This is outside of my ability to address. I think @Gary is probably the answer man here as he takes care of how the site functions.

It's because data transfer rates from the South America data center have too much lag carrying such royal photos they timeout from loading 👑

In seriousness though, not a clue. I've seen it for a few people for a few of weeks now but only Mark or Gary would be able to give an accurate explanation.

Some recent cache improvements to images have introduced this bug. It seems to be impacting people who have set their profile to block public visitors in Settings. Hopefully we'll have it resolved soon. Thanks everyone.
