Interesting Phenomena

Hi everyone,
I just noticed that of my three bookings that I have initiated with pros, on all three occasions my offer was accepted, but when I checked to see who had viewed me, they were not among those who had. I have found it peculiar because you would think that before agreeing to meet someone you would at least want to see what was in their profile first. Does this happen because pros are not supposed to be as picky? Even then, wouldn't one at least be curious of the person they agree to book with? I just found it interesting.

It could be a few things

    • Not realizing the importance of screening. They usually end up having multiple bad experiences before they either wise up or quit.
    • New and naive
    • Not here for cough cuddling cough IYKYK
    • No intention of actually keeping their session, typically flakes who just want attention.
    • Infact have viewed your profile but not showing up as a recent visitor

As a client I would be concerned and suspicious of anyone willing to come to my home with no screening.

  • @Rezz yeah, that all makes sense to me. The surprising thing is that I have completed one of those sessions and she was definitely not a no show, was super trustworthy, and not new with over 70 Karma. I only choose pros with some or a lot of Karma anyway to be on the safe side, so they are not new, scammers, or no shows.

  • @AGnihon
You mention in your profile that you prefer a video chat. It's safe to assume you two did a video call beforehand and/or she did view your profile and deemed you safe.
You have a well written profile and pictures. We take notice of these things when it comes to us screening our clients. ☺️

  • @Rezz Thank you for the compliment! Yes, we did do a video call beforehand, and I guess I did ask for it in the chat, so maybe she felt that was enough to not have to check my profile. It went very well and she was considerate enough to even wear a mask throughout.😊

  • Some professionals don't bother looking at profiles at all because they feel there is no point.

Many of them are blank or functionally blank. And if they are not blank, they are usually positive. A profile that would make you actively hesitant to enter into communication with somebody is relatively rare.

I suspect that others come from a background of being used to meeting clients from an environment where there is no such thing as profiles, and so their standard screening process (which they have brought with them to cuddling) just doesn't include it.

  • @CuddleDuncan interesting points! This seems to be mostly true. However even as just an enthusiast, there are profiles I would not trust. For example, if they had no introduction of themselves, if their picture looked too good to be true (like something out of a magazine), and if they had no Karma despite being here for years. Also, there are actually some profiles with bad Karma, even scary Karma, so it's still surprising they wouldn't look.

  • I was wondering if you could enter the profile from the message and it doesn’t show up. I’ve seen it before as well.
