Your TikTok FYP

So, if you use TikTok, you will know that you have a 'For You Page' - a chain of videos the algorithm 'thinks' you will enjoy, based on things you have watched and interested with previously.

So, spill the beans- what kind of content shows up on yours?

I get a lot of horror and cosplay inspired make up looks and transformations, a lot of horror stuff, history content, Victoriana, a fair amount of 'thirst traps' (I can look, and appreciate the aesthetic appeal, doesn't mean I want to do anything about it- still very much asexual!) I also get lots of environmentally/eco friendly content, small businesses, original music, Strangers Things clips (usually of Eddie!) plenty of dog videos, LGBTQIA+ content, tons of feminism stuff and a lot of arty/crafty dollshouse/miniatures creative videos.

    @SunsetSnuggles - I have an Quest VR headset that requires a Facebook account just to use. It's a shiny brick without one.

    @SunsetSnuggles - It used to be the Oculus Quest, but Facebook bought out the company and rebranded it to Meta Quest. When the Quest 2 launched, a Facebook account has been required to use it. Maybe you can create a Facebook account just to get by that restriction? They never said you have to actively use it.

    @SunsetSnuggles - If you said that on Facebook, you'd be automatically banned for a few days. They have moderation bots which is an absolute joke. Somebody actually said that they bought a white trash can and was banned for 30 days. It flagged "white trash" as a racist statement.
