I recently cuddled again, and felt so relaxed and in touch with the cuddler, and myself. I could barely drive home. I wonder if we should drink extra water or something after a cuddle like we're supposed to after a massage?
I would sometimes bring along water before the session just in case. I would love to share my recent experience about my cuddle adventure. I've experienced the first time doing a public cuddle session at central park. We ate viatemense sandwich, cuddled at the bench, and cuddle on top of a huge rock. Surprisingly cuddling on top of a huge rock was more comfortable than cuddling at a bench. I brought a Led frisebee along to play outside and had tons of fun!
@CuddleBarista1 Did you bring coffee? I would like to try an outdoor venue someday . You had Banh Mi? I love banh mi.
No, I didn't bring coffee because time kept getting pushed for later time and wasn't close by a coffee shop. I have offered teas or beverages to my cuddlers before and provided him many kinds of teas on the previous cuddle session. I did have Banh mi specifically pork and it was delicious! My first time eating a viatemense sandwich and would love to try it again! Do you have any recommendations of sandwiches to try? It really is fun cuddling at a public place and you should try it at least once. It is totally worth it and unique cuddle experience!
@CuddleBarista1 Hi. That's awesome. Banh MI is delicious. I can't say I know many sandwiches, but Viet stuff, things to try are pho, banh mi, Vietnamese coffee, and bon bo hue (noodle soup w diff meats or sausage or organs).
I plan on trying more than once, but for now there's plenty of time. Thanks for the rec!
@cylee1180 those sound very yummy! I will definitely keep an eye out! Thank you so much for sharing your suggestions.
@CuddleBarista1 Yeah, more Asian drinks to try (you probably had some of them): Thai Iced Tea, bubble tea, and Hong Kong Milk Tea.
Haven't tried Thai iced tea and Hong Kong milk tea. I have tried the mango bubble tea and very delicious! I am very fascinated of Asian culture and would love to learn more about it.
@CuddleBarista1 Asia is a big place! Lots to learn and try! Aren't you in the NY area? NYC Chinatown has lots of nice stores and vendors. I remember liking Kamboat bakery for their pastries , drinks, and generous lunch menu.
I recently had my first cuddle in over 5 years. It was such a great feeling. Trisha was so caring, willing to touch and be touched appropriately and platonically. I left feeling so relaxed and feeling super good. That feeling lasted a good 36 hours. I was so pumped that I contacted another cuddler and I will have my second session (I’m not counting the one 5 years ago) tomorrow, 8/6/22.
My long term cuddle friend came back from overseas after a summer visit with his family. It's been great to reconnect, he's been so supportive over the last few years!
Not only have I met a cuddle friend here on CC a little while back, but I have met someone IRL outside of CC that I have just recently started platonic cuddling with as well. It’s definitely healing and supportive and much needed. On a day to day basis, I’m starting to feel less anxious and nervous and I know that I’m on the right path. Of course there’s other things that I’m doing in my personal life that are also contributing to my healing as well. I’m getting back into my hobbies, spending more time with family and friends, and taking a step back from my work where and when I’m able to.
@CuddleBarista1 Your cuddle adventure sounds like an absolute blast and time well spent! In a recent cuddle my cuddle buddy felt safe enough to share some very personal things. I felt honored to be trusted and grateful for the physical and emotional proximity I was entrusted with.
@cylee1180 I am in the NYC area and familiar with Chinatown. I don't go there very often and I have not tried kamboat bakery yet. I highly reccomend the new world mall at queens and it is an Asian community there. The mall at the food court has delicious mango bubble tea. I have so much to learn and try out so many Asian foods. Indeed Asia is a pretty huge place and worth exploring around. Thank you again for sharing all this information to me. @Nature_Lover_ it definitely was a blast to do something out off the ordinary in a cuddle session and that does feel good to open up with your cuddle buddy or vice-versa.
Yesterday my professional cuddler and I talked about nerdy topics that I enjoy like 3D printing. After the session, she stuck around shortly to learn how to crimp an RJ-45 connector onto a CAT-5e cable.
@Nature_Lover_ I was just about to post what a blessing it was to recently cuddle with you! You are such a gem!! Thank you for being a safe place and anybody that gets to cuddle with you is blessed for sure 😊
@CuddleBarista1 I understand Flushing has more of the Northern Chinese stuff, but if you want some Cantonese or other Southern Cuisine, get the OG stuff from Chinatown. The baked goods (BBQ pork buns, pastries, jello/jelly/sticky goods) and dim sum in Chinatown are amazing . Nyc has the 2nd or 3rd best Chinatown (best in the east coast) next to LA and SF.
Great stories pple! Keep them rolling!
