Hey... I'm new. I'm trying to figure out how to get past the talking stage to the booking stage. I've had one conversation that went well and I'm hopeful he'll be my first cuddler, but I don't want to badger anyone. How does this typically work?
When I send a message to a pro, I generally ask about a booking in my first message. Most pros aren’t really inclined to have a big conversation without an appointment.
Anyway you can just say “Are you interested in booking a session?”
Thanks so much for the help. Seems so basic lol
@RhapsodyBlue there is a certain type of member who likes to carry on long conversations with professionals even though they have absolutely no intention of making a booking, so watch out for that. (There are others of course who are just unsure or nervous.)
Thanks for the advice @CuddleDuncan. How can you tell the difference though? Especially when they have good karma?
Karma is a great start but it isn't always reliable. Always click through to see who left it. Many professionals, especially when they are new, are afraid to leave bad Karma but they are scared of revenge Karma hurting their business and so they write some generic nice comments. In fact, false Karma usually gets deleted by the mods. Always report untrue Karma.
But lots of Karma usually means lots of bookings, which is an encouraging sign: you have to book appointments to get Karma. Genuine clients usually move to arranging a time and place pretty quickly, and experienced ones certainly will. The main exception will be people who have specific questions.
Some professionals offer text chat as a separate service. I'm told it's advisable to be very specific about rates and the exact service offer (e.g. average number of texts per day/week, times of day that messaging is acceptable, etc).
You'll learn to spot the endless chat merchants pretty quickly.
