How’s everyone’s week going?

Tell me all about your week the good and the bad

Comments

  • The good - few days off from work, enjoying my downtime and catching up on some much needed sleep 😴

The bad - I start work on Monday 😔

  • Been up and down for a while honestly lol.

Traveled a lot, did some productive cooking and household things and lots of kitty cuddles.

Broke up with one of my partners the other day and trying to process emotions is...well. annoying. But worth it.

Going to try to relax and remind myself that new opportunities are always around us to encourage new goals and meeting of like-mindedness but damn if it isn't lonely in the process.

The good: I'm free of my abusive ex and I've had a couple platonic cuddle sessions from here. It gives me hope that there are still good men out there, in the far far future if I ever decide to enter the dating scene again.

The bad: healing from years of control and abuse, having to live in a hotel until I move in to my new place next month, and other stuff going on.

  • The Good: I am well liked by the FBI and I made their Top Ten list of favorite people they have on the post office bulletin board.

The Bad: None! They really love me. They really, really love me. I get you now Sally Field.

@Missy87 glad you got the will to get out of a manipulative controlling situation … for anyone reading this and dealing with it - the sooner the better! There is never any reasoning with these types of personalities, they tend to always make the rules , they themselves forever break em all the time, and somehow it is justifiable by them, life becomes constantly walking on egg shells, and the worst they get, the more “good” you try to be with them to show them you aren’t that bad of a person and that you truly care for them, but the hole keeps getting deeper and deeper.

Edit: I speak In general, this isn’t specifically towards a Roamntic relationship… it can be a family member / a friend / yes, a partner / or someone in your life who happens to be there for whatever reason.

  • Fantastic week for me. Very low key. Looking forward to the weekend. 😊

It’s been a rough week, serious health scare with my mother. Won’t get into details here. Luckily, she seems to be improving over the course of the week.

On the plus side, I had an incredible cuddling session that really helped me with the stress of the whole situation.

  • @FunCartel I got some looks as I was reading your comment and let a laugh slip before I could contain myself

The good: I went to a pumpkin patch with a friend and had a lot of fun! (I met them here which is extra cool 😎)

The bad: Thanks to the CA wildfires my HOA had to get much costlier insurance, resulting in a large fee I (and everyone else) needed to fork up. It’s been paid, but it’s an unwelcome and stress-inducing expense.

The ugly: I am battling depression something fierce lately and my normally very tidy behavior has been slipping and I really need to snap out of it.

The silver-lining: The CC Vegas meetup is next weekend and I finally get to meet a lot of you cool peeps! And I fully intend to get some much needed cuddles in.

  • @Missy87 That’s horrible, Ima glad to hear you got out of that situation.

  • The Good: the electricity works, the water works, I have plenty of food in the pantry and refrigerator, there's no civil unrest or bombs dropping on our heads, it's 83°F and a bright, sunny cloudless day, and my daughter's 4th grade teacher said she's performing math at a 6th grade level.

The Bad: eh, I'll skip it.

  • The Bad: It's getting colder and my joints don't like it.

The Good: It's getting colder and sleep cuddles with Zwei are getting better and better. I also progressed from wall pushups to table pushups without undue pain in either wrist or elbow. Covid recovery is going well.

The good: ate pizza this week

The bad: the fee pro cuddlers charge is getting ridiculous!

The good: I found a pair of expensive fins on the bottom of a lake on my first dive as a divemaster candidate.

The bad: I desperately want to move to a free country where people don't see others as mere resources, but still no dice on a visa.

Good: I've reduced my hours at work to fix my mental health, and it's slowly making a difference :)

    Bad: BILLS.

  • @DaveTheBrit Your good part is so good. So glad you know not to live to work:)
