Have any of y'all ever rented/stayed in a Tree House? I am thinking about finding just such a treasure and it would be fun to hear some stories if anyone's had experience and would like to share.

These are great. I stayed in one of their yurts, but want to try the treehouse next time. They got listed through AirBnb since I last stayed there, so the prices have gone way up. These are booked out way in advance, and the last I checked, AirBnb related fees made it pretty pointless to just stay for a weekend.

We offered a cuddle retreat at one such place in July. There was another one scheduled but is being rescheduled because couple facilitators came down with covid. But it was a one day thing, not a residential event.

I'm from Colorado.... Born and raised. So around these parts we have lots of "cabins" and "log homes" in the mountains and wooded areas. I anticipated a TREE HOUSE to be built up in the trees. There seem to be a lot of "houses within the trees" with a trendy name and Tree House designation.

Any thoughts how to get to the "up in the trees" kind of structures? I'm thinking Peter Pan here....

Walking across elevated wooden bridges etc. Look at this cool place!

If they are using gravity plumbing I would make sure your tree house isn’t below @pmvines…he is pretty regular.

I think it's absolutely beautiful and I love trees! However my friend that tried to stay in a real (in the trees one) had to move to a different structure because it was very damp smelled like mildew and just didn't feel good to breathe.

@TxTom I think you are right.... hmmmmm.... I'll have to process the dream a little bit. We used to have a roller skating rink that had a tree right in the middle of the floor. Does that make it a "Tree Rink" even though its not UP in the trees? I believe some of the magic might be dissipating. 😂
