  • This reminds me of the dog trainer, Cesar Millan's, quote on the order of priority with a dog's senses, which he says is "nose, eyes, ears, in that order", as this is the order puppies develop those senses: "Dogs are born blind and deaf and rely on their sense of smell in order to find their mothers and nurse, so their first association with survival is scent. This connection lasts for the rest of a dog’s life."

    It's interesting to think that the first thing we experience may be the top priority for us, the rest of our lives.
