the increase of sexual violence against women in America

edited January 2023 in General

why women in America treated really bad?
women in America are like sexual objects.
the data shows America has the highest rates in rapes, sexual violence, harassments and sexual transmitted diseases in the world. every 2 minutes a woman get raped in America, 90% of American woman experienced sexual harassments.
why women are not respected? . movies, series, advertisements, songs sexualize and objectify girls and women.
I believe our Morden world, naked fashion and freedoms behind all of that. flies never go to open meat. where is dignity and respect of Morden woman.

Pointing to things like dress and "freedoms" is basically blaming the victim. How a woman chooses to dress is not an excuse for a man being unable to control himself.

@WriterGF both are to blame, men should lower their gaze and control themselves, you cant leave you car open and not expect anyone to steal it. naked dresses trigger men I think, prove me if I'm wrong

  • Lots of moving parts, lots of history, but a big reason among many is: The Media. We learn how to be human beings from family, our larger community (school, neighborhood, work), and the mass media (from old-style magazines and billboards, to movies and music videos, to everything on the Internet).

  • @MDAD rape is always about power and control.

What someone is wearing is NOT a factor. Google the exhibit “what they were wearing”. This is an exhibit dedicated to debunking the myth that what people are wearing is to blame for sexual assault. The exhibit shows Literally every variety of outfit. Most people were fully covered at the time of their assaults. The most horrifying are the outfits that clearly belong to children.

Women are humans… not “open cars”. In all of your analogies you liken women to objects. You seem quite comfortable comparing women to things. A disturbing trend.

Humans get raped. Not just women. It happens to humans of all genders.

@WriterGF agreed. Just the same as a brownie on the counter does not mean I eat it, as much as I love brownies.

We have an entitled society that ultimately is accustomed to not having natural consequences to choices.

  • Are you trolling @MDAD ? Lol You need to provide sources for those outrageous stats. If your main concern is the promiscuous woman there's no need to try to tie it to abuse. Men are also abused and they're not dressed in a way "asking for it". Your concern seems more with modern day society as a whole capitalizing on "sex sells" which yes it's disgusting, but half the blame is also on the consumer.

    @MDAD
Well for starters your statistics completely wrong.
    Here's a hint America is not #1.

both are to blame, men should lower their gaze and control themselves, you cant leave you car open and not expect anyone to steal it. naked dresses trigger men think, prove me if l'm wrong

If you steal a car because it's unlocked that makes YOU the criminal not me. I didn't give you the keys or consent.

I hope this thread gets shutdown. Your victim blaming and your trash statistics screams troll.

  • @homeboy well said
@Jkay I agree with some parts of what you said expect most people were fully covered at the time of their assaults.
women are human and should have respect ,I'm not comparing them to things just giving examples.
@vianca why America has the highest rates in rapes and sexual violence?

  • edited January 2023

Um, I can point to a few countries with higher statistics. Women get to wear whatever the hell they want and if men can't control themselves it their bad. Predators need to level up from low level life forms. If you can't see a woman without losing your mind then you're the one who shouldn't be outside. Also, "you" is being used in second person narrative. Also, how's London? I hear it's beautiful. Stop trolling.

@Rezz I abslutly agree with you but you should take precautions not to give criminals a chance to commit crimes

  • @MDAD
What precautions would you give to a 3 year old child?

  • edited January 2023

@MDAD where's the proof? When analyzing stats there are many factors to consider against the findings. You can say North America has more reports than the UK yet there's simply more people here than there. I'm sure if I pull up India's stats they will show more than the states bc they have a larger population. Violence is a human problem not a geographical problem.

  • I just looked it up and guess what the U.S. isn't great but it's nowhere near the top. Google it.

  • edited January 2023

"A United Nations statistical report compiled from government sources showed that more than 250,000 cases"

That is a quote. It also is too low for a rape every 2 mins in the United States. That's the world. Get a life.

@MDAD is this @Ahmedali999 ? You little stinker how many times they gotta ban you? You know you arent supposed to be here now go on get

  • The fact that @MDAD here loves to victim blame is a massive red flag. Sounds to me like someone lacks self control and really shouldn't be trusted in this community.

  • edited January 2023

@vianca Google it UK is higher than the US. Hugs. I don't want to link the articles because it might be against TOS. Goodness knows his post should be.

  • @stormydaycuddle it's not about what women only wear also social media, songs, advertisements encourage sexual violence against men and women, everything in social media about nudity now days.
@Rezz what precautions would I give to a 3 years old child? keep an eye , parents are responsible about their child .

  • @Sideon @Shake49 @netrunner @Babichev

  • edited January 2023

@MDAD I understood what was said the first time it was said.

  • @mdad comatose women have been sexually assaulted in nursing homes, so stop it with the victim blaming.

  • @MDAD I know who you are now like beetlejuice its time to leave

  • edited January 2023

I hope flags are flying because I'm 100% about to get banned if the predatory rhetoric doesn't stop. * I'll behave. Seeing red but I'm going to go wash my hair or something.

And I'm out. Took the video out because it's referring to a saying I don't think everyone knows. Might have come across as rude to the people who are commenting genuinely.
