I know it's a free market and supply and demand dictate prices. I'm not criticizing the pros who can get that fee. I was just curious if anyone has ever actually paid that much and if they felt it was worth it 🤔🤷♂️
I would change the name of the thread to be “what’s the most you’ve ever paid for an hour of cuddling” although I am curious to know if somebody has ever paid what the OP is asking on the title.
That price seems excessive to me personally, but If you’re in demand and have the following….
I have never paid that much for the services of a professional cuddler. I hate to say it but if you're going to spend that much an hour you might as well hire another kind of service provider who is going to do a lot more than just cuddle!
I think it's a difference between figuring out what kind of cuddling service you want. Then ask questions estions on a discussion to start aiming at people that charge that provide a safe service.
I just think it's weird to ask certain people about their financial decisions and can be also dangerous because then people will know how much money they will have in their pockets which can lead to scamming
avoiding another thread kill
I had an offer for that recently but the client wanted more than cuddling and shortly after deactivated his account before I could report.
I'm not sure that I could justify spending that much an hour. It's just me though...
I personally think 80 an hour is a fair price for an hr cuddle session. But if you feel like paying 500...worth is in the eye of the beholder.
I might add that some pros elevate the price to lower the number of inquiries, improve the quality of client, or just to get increased compensation for the hassles they routinely encounter from clients. I am not saying the logic holds up on some of the reasons, but just some of the reasons you hear from other pros and on the forums over the years.
I once inquired on a lady without paying attention to her rates. She was 200/hr. We chatted for a bit then I noticed her rate when booking and told her I can’t bring myself to pay that much for something so temporally short. She noticed my karma and came back an hour later at 125/hr based on my karma and time on the site. I told her that you really can’t trust karma completely and she said that karma was better than nothing. So take that for whatever its worth.
I don’t think I would pay more than $150, and that’s in certain markets. 500 is way over market, so business would be very infrequent.
I know an artist who over inflates the hell out of their art , but then all it takes is one or two sales and they can close up til the next market
Most I would pay is $125 an hour, average I pay is $100 an hour.
Like I’ve said in the past if I was healed of trauma and felt completely whole after a $500 hour session that would be nothing to pay.
It doesn't make sense that this would be more than say: an hour with a masseuse or an hour with a psychiatrist.
I've never paid more than $150, and usually avoid that price. I spoked to one person who for a while charged $200/hour, and she said she set that price because she wasn't really interested in doing any sessions at that time (and indeed she got zero bookings). I am guessing other very high priced cuddlers have a similar situation.
@KozyKim
Yes, of course. But you wouldn't be healed of anything. It would be just like any other cuddling session, except you pay 5x as much. The cuddlers on here charging extreme prices aren't gods of therapy or something, they're just random people who set a really high price.
@CuddleWho Two of my clients said I change their life, and their wives said thank you, I have a new husband. My agenda is just to love someone. . I do have to give credit to God who loves me.. One client gave me an extra $350 . But I would say the rest of my cuddles were just very good and therapeutic but not life-changing.💛
@KozyKim - I know the power of life altering cuddles. The way I experienced it, the simple act of intentional, platonic touch - wrapping your arms around someone or lightly running your fingertips down someone’s arm… it creates a connection faster and stronger than months of talking over a phone or even sitting in the same room a few feet apart but not touching.
Touch is the substance of words. About a year ago, when I was in a lot of emotional pain, I had a session with an exceptional pro who spoke healing words to me. If she had said the exact same words to me from the opposite side of a desk, they would have just bounced off the emotional armor I was wearing. I would have completely dismissed her words as her “just being nice to me.”
But she spoke those words while holding me in her arms. Touch made her healing words believable. They didn’t bounce off of my armor - they shattered the armor I had been unable to take off and lay aside for many years. I can’t remember ever feeling so emotionally naked and vulnerable in my life - my “defenses” were gone and her healing words penetrated to the very core of my being where the healing process began.
That cuddle was an inflection point in my life. It changed the trajectory I was on. The healing wasn’t instant and I had a couple of months of uncertainty and confusion as I learned to feel and process things again that I had not felt since unconsciously donning the armor years earlier as a coping mechanism.
I say all of this now with the benefit of a year of self reflection. Last February I was a hot mess of emotions - feeling things I had not felt in a long, long time and struggling to find balance. For a couple of months I completely lost my ability to focus and concentrate and I had to fight the urge from time to time to find the shattered pieces of armor and reassemble them when I felt attacked.
My CC profile begins with the words of a 1965 song by The Animals, “I’m just a soul whose intentions are good, Oh Lord, please don’t let me be misunderstood.” That is how I live my life today. I am involved in a lot of activities outside of my occupation to improve the lives of people in my community. I think of those activities as ripple effects from the healing I experienced a year ago during a life altering cuddle.
Thanks for sharing that @John1972 I think there’s a lot of empathetic people in the professional cuddling world and in the enthusiast world. I think the majority of people that go into this profession are very loving people. I experience that at the meet and greet in Missouri. Instantly I felt excepted and loved when I was walking up the hill towards the people. The embraces were so genuine and loving.
I do think the key is finding someone that you feel you can be vulnerable with. I’m glad you found someone.
