Anyone watch this guy? He recently bashed Kid Icarus. I used to love that game when I was a kid.
I love his channel he always has me laughing and the nostalgia is awesome. I loved when he reviewed home alone and had Macaulay Culkin
I thought this thread was dedicated to angry video game nerds in general. I truly believe gaming is a benefit to the world as it teaches working together and problem solving. On the OTHER hand... I may be where I picked up some of my rage.
@stormydaycuddle - lol. He's been doing videos since 2006 and has over 200 episodes. He reviews classic games that were bad and has funny things to say about them. He drops the F bomb a lot, so proceed with caution.
My son who is on the Autism Spectrum is obsessed with this guys videos..tells me all about him all the time
@Mike403 ha I have watched his channel a lot over the years and I think he’s really funny. As for him trashing a beloved childhood game, I used to love Roger Rabbit on the NES but I can’t fault anyone that completely eviscerates any game put out by LJN 😅 Also wow the quality of his videos has certainly gone up. He’s been making them for almost as long as I have had internet lol

Honestly, never cared for this guy or his YouTube channel. Don’t think his humor is funny at all. Don’t care for his reviews one that I do like is Sega lord X
I love watching angry video game nerd!!! That's amazing that he is still making content and watched him since high school. I will definitely watch the video!!!
When he started out, he used to be called the Angry Nintendo Nerd. When he got popular, he changed his name to avoid trademark issues with Nintendo and became the Angry Video Game Nerd. Nintendo is very strict about their intellectual property and will sue people or order takedowns for the dumbest reasons. Fan made projects that used Nintendo characters have been ordered to be taken down even though the creators weren't profiting in any way.
I like to rewatch his Nightmare On Elm Street review every now and then, still a fun channel after all these years.

I did watch him back 15 years ago. One of the first YouTube gamers. It's an interesting phenomenon, I originally watched his videos due to nostalgia about the NES, and now I'm nostalgic about his videos.
As for Kid Icarus, it was one of the first video games I owned, and I have fond memories of it... but it is objectively a pretty bad game. For many reasons, but notably the difficulty curve is completely screwed up - the first few stages are incredibly difficult, and then it gets a lot easier. Makes no sense. There's a reason so many other Nintendo games released around that time spawned huge properties - Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc - but Kid Icarus has been neglected except for an occasional showing.
There has never been a game as good as ET for the Atari 2600.
