In the words of Coach Beard, two nights [in Vegas] is perfect; 3 is too many.
Skid Row
Bridgeport, CT
A stop in Fayetteville, WV, New River Gorge park. You can sign up for a walk across the bridge under the road way on the metal frame work, it’s wild almost 900’ high
Teleride, Colorado
Nashville is just a hop away from Bowling Green, KY. Bowling Green is home to the National Corvette Museum if you're interested in cars.
@LadyVel Isn't Hanes also near there? 😆
Ill have to do some research on bowling green. West Virgina is on my bucket list but I never actually booked anything lol . As for the clowns putting on skid row and Bridgeport. Thats not funny and if I could delete those I would . Please do not put places as a joke.
@jimboslice5014 - that's not how the forums work. People create posts and the OPs don't/can't dictate responses. As long as people follow the TOS and forum rules, the main one that people get tagged for the most often being, no personal attacks. A post not your cup of tea? Move on. A response not your cup of tea? Move on. Be mindful of your posts and responses in the future, please. [-Sid]
It’s humor, not a personal attack, like calling someone a clown!
@Matt462 I am asking you politely not to do that!
Sir yes sir!
Wherever you go, steer clear of comedy clubs, you would hate them! Lots of people having fun and making jokes!
Avila beach CA
Aah yes. there shall be no humor.
So I got a private message from @jimboslice5014 telling me that I’m “easily offended” and that I should apologize for writing “Bridgeport”! Then he called me “Karen!” And said he asked me nicely not to post funny things! Does anyone agree with jimbo? I never called him a clown or Karen! I simply wrote “Bridgeport, CT” which by the way has a beautiful shoreline with multiple yacht clubs, there’s a new music amphitheater, and some really great restaurants!!! Asking nicely would consist of please, and a question mark! I’d prefer to keep this matter private but since he finds the need to call me names I thought I would ask everyone’s opinion.
Reported, reviewed, and leaving intact. I advise you both to mutually block, @Matt462 and @jimboslice5014 - and further, you may not tag or engage with each other further, not here, not there, not in a car, not near or far. Do not escalate further or I will place formal warnings on your accounts. There's not enough coffee for this kind of drama, just sayin'. [-Sid]
Nope - we don't post conversations in the forums. Full nope, @Matt462 [-Sid]
@Matt462 I never worry about it if it was humor intended to not offend. Heck I made a joke on here once about a state—-one of those jokes that can be easily applied to any state and the dude lost his sh@t over it. He blocked me and says things on the forum to this day that are referring to me. But I won’t engage him because he is too thin-skinned and set in his ways. So no. Levity balances the depressing side of things I believe and there will always be someone easily offended who can’t take a deep breath and realize it is just a joke.
However, it is bad form to reveal the contents of private messages on the forums, even if it was an attack. Report the attack to a mod and live happily ever after.
@Matt462 I don't think there was anything wrong with your post. I also don't think you are the thin skinned one. Just keep on being you. There will always be someone who takes umbrage on any post. Let there be laughter.
There goes playing the victim when he is no innocent
Exhibit A of why one would get timed out in a forum - responding after formally warned not to engage. [-Sid]
