Good Thursday afternoon,
I hope you are all doing well. I am feeling pretty good after getting some time to relax at the beach last week. Does anyone have any particularly fun vacation plans for this summer?
The only good thing I have on tap is taking my kids to NYC for a few days. Other than that I will spend a lot of lazy afternoons by the pool with some good beer and some books.
Things I 'hope' for?
1) our band starts playing out. I've been in so many projects that practice and practice and never play in front of a crowd. I've probably forgotten more bass lines that I can actually remember.
2) I'm ready to find someone special. I really hope I can meet someone to share my life with. I've been alone for a year and a half, the divorce has been final for months and I'm ready to move on. With no friends and family in this area, and with a job I work from home a lot, I am loving my freedom but very lonely. I have two main pros I cuddle with, and they really help, but I need more than what the platonic cuddle friends provide. It's very tough at my age to meet someone new. I've tried dating sites, volunteering, outdoor hobbies, but still haven't met anyone. Hopefully accomplishing the above hope will solve this one as well
My summer isn't going as I had envisioned. I signed up cc this month hoping to cuddle with someone and relax. I had a death in my family and has been stressful. I tried to setup 2 appointments so far but has been disappointing. One pro asked for additional money on top of what she advertised. The second one accepted my request and then cancelled on the day of the session and tried to schedule me off the site by texting and pressurized me to respond immediately coz she is "busy and has many clients". So not a good start so far but I am hopeful.
Having a great summer so far. I got to spend some much needed beach time in Panama beach this week and hoping to travel a lot more this summer.
