Adjustments made to blocking profiles

@Mark any way we can update the blocking system? seems people still have a lot of leeway even after being blocked, would be nice to make an adjustment to where we cant see their comments in forums, and cant have profile views by said users, and what-nots.
like on fb.  

I agree. I tire of the rampant asshattery by certain users and, should they be blocked, should not still be able to visit my profile. If not careful, this also has the potential to impact business.

Just do what I do and don't read the posts from the people that annoy you.

Interesting how you and your buddy always end up posting back to back. Almost as if you sleep in the same bed.

 And to continue @VIPirate 's comments, I'm not sure why morpheus and cuddlebandit find it necessary to continue visiting my profile, even after they have been blocked, and both always visiting at the same time. If you don't want to be called out for your behavior maybe stop doing those behaviors? 

 When I first joined this website I found the forum discussions to be enlightening, engaging and fun. Over these last two weeks, two or three people  specifically have made it unpleasant on several occasions. No wonder people are leaving, contacting each other behind the scenes, and sharing their frustration about things have gotten really out of hand and downright rude.

 This is going to be my last post.  I've made genuine connections with people here and I will continue those, just not here in these threads until the nonsense, bullying and immaturity is handled.

@Brandi  I agree with you that blocked people should not be able to visit your profile, but it seems to me that not having their posts show up would distract from the flow of the threads.

As it's been requested so often, I have now changed the Blocking feature so that the blocked member cannot view your profile and vice-versa. For now the blocked member will still show on your Visitors page but I hope to resolve that also.

Blocking on forums is a perfectly reasonable and logical request but it isn't going to happen. In my experience it actually causes a lot of disruption. People get confused, people boast how pleased they are not to see other posts or more often and not, people don't block due to curiosity but pretend they have to make a point.

All of this leads to the ultimate playground situation reducing the quality of the forum. I understand there are people who dislike each other here, and while it's certainly difficult, it is preferable to ignore each other than introduce this feature. 

@fireandblue loves the new feature she blocked me simply for looking at her profile. I hadn't said not two words to her. Glad this feature is coming in handy for some people lol

 I blocked you because you've looked at my profile almost a dozen times, and never said hello or made any contact. Don't take it personally, I also blocked morpheus and his best buddy cuddlebandit and greenearth for doing the same thing. Well, I blocked morpheus because he was literally harassing me through email.  

I am not under any obligation to communicate with or have contact with people I've seen bullying or making this space unpleasant.  And if you dislike me so much, why the frequent visits to my profile?

 That is absolutely not the reason I am here, I'm here to make connections with like-minded cuddly people. IVE MADE TONS OF REAL FRIENDS HERE.  That part has been amazing! And I would never associate with bullies are those who relentlessly pick on others for no good reason. 

Also, you might want to take a look in the professional cuddling forum because @Mark just posted something perhaps you (and anyone else who feels it is acceptable to be rude) should read?

 This is a cuddling site, not a place for people to post quips and low blows, immature comments, go after others (even after they've asked a number of times for it to stop) and engage in ageism, sexism or any other type of discrimination.  Nor is it a place to bash professional cuddlers for doing the job that is obviously very much sought after.  

 To everyone else, I hope you are having a wonderful day. Whether you celebrate Easter or not, I hope it is a peaceful and happy quiet Sunday. 

First of all I haven't viewed your profile a dozen times and Second I view your profile because I click on the @fireandblue so I can put a face to the post is all. Most peopLe would take that as a compliment. And why are you going off on me?? What have I done? I haven't even posted on the threads in a long time.

I'm not a rude person I'm a very nice person ask anyone who has cuddled with me. I don't appreciate that at all. I have done nothing against you at all but you proceed to blast me. Thanks a lot.

And please don't tell me what and what not to read on this site.

 You are welcome… Please stop addressing me, stop attacking me and stop tagging my name and threads. That would be much appreciated.

 Get over yourself, I am responding to what is posted, I don't go out attacking people. And when a person asks you to leave them alone it's usually a really good idea to do so, otherwise your edging on the area of harassment. And you're doing it in front of a public forum.  

 I have absolutely no desire to communicate with you, greenearth, cuddlebandit and... especially morpheus who has actually harassed me in writing. 

 I have publicly asked that none of you address me, contact me or tag me in posts. So this will be the last time I ask nicely. 

 This is our last communication.

I'm anti-censorship in general but it's nonsense like this that often tempts me to go over to the other side. You're reducing the quality of the forum.

Masterofcuddles the reason she is probably lumping you with the others is because you have assosiated with them before. And it seems they have almost a pack of some sort to diss professional cuddlers. Its best we block those guys and move the hell on. Its been months. This site is due for some peace.


I think this is exactly why you shouldnt be able to see peoples comments on threads because it's still a way of contact. And can always turn into "playground situation"
