Stress

So I don't normally talk about my children to much on this site but for people to be in my life they should understand what I deal with. About 3 years ago I believe now...my youngest daughter got sick like really sick. After she didn't get better I took her to the hospital and it turns out she has pandas(see picture). We did many tests and a few hospital stays. Over time her pandas calmed down and only flares up when she really stressed. Well Saturday night she had 3 nonepileptic seizure. And those are caused by stress. She was fully wake thru everything. I could see the terror in her eyes. So not do I have my own stresses, I have hers and my boys. I really don't need anymore in my life. Yes I'm homeless and jobless but I've walked through everything alone because no one is strong enough to stand the storm.

  • Damn @Mama_Bre ~ That's a lot to be dealing with and I hope you can find some support.
One suggestion I have is to pull your kid's school counselor in, if you haven't yet. They are often a wealth of resource knowledge and have the ability to help facilitate connections, as well as coordinated check-ins/tool (coping skill) reinforcement.
Best wishes for you ~ QL

I can imagine that you have so many challenges because of this disease and how it affects your family and especially you and your daughter.
I have dealt with something similar in my family and it’s a struggle that shapes every day.
I hope you have support from people in your life. It’s important that your needs are also met whenever possible so that you can be there for your children and to have breaks for your own health. Believe me, I know it’s not easy.
I’m glad you posted this to raise awareness. I had never heard the name but familiar with the symptoms.
If you ever need someone to talk to. Please message me!
    Sending you 🤗🤗🤗🤗
