@SoftHairForDays - When my last cat passed away and I made a post about it, somebody messaged me saying sorry for my loss then blocked me before I got a chance to respond. People are weird.

@Matt462 same here. I reached out. Offered to be there to help, listen, support & was promptly blocked. 🤷♂️. I’m still willing to help but what can ya do?

I suggest calling your local hotline. They always have a phone counselor to listen and talk for 15-20 mins at a time. The one near me takes calls from any where in the world : 301-738-2255. I call them when I'm in a bind. Or call a friend or a relative - know that someone cares about you and can listen to your story. Good luck.

I don't know how you can tell if blocked, but OP didn't respond beyond asking "hru" (how are you). People do different things for different reasons. I feel satisfied that I tried to help someone, and beyond that it doesn't affect me. I think its great so many people attempted to help from this community and I'd just focus on that. There are a lot of nice and empathetic people here. 😁

@stormydaycuddle Thanks for the sentiments! Mental health is always a challenge no matter what the situation. We are also armed w tools and the more tools we use the better we fare is my philosophy !
