San Diego: How are folks preparing for Hurricane Hilary

edited August 2023 in General

Sending love to those here in the area :)
(We only have a tropical storm on our end but the eye of the hurricane will hover over us Sunday ~5am)

A reminder here to stock up on water, grab a cooler, some ice, pack up a few important things you can carry with you just in case you’ll need to evacuate, and find a flash light and candles to keep around the house in case a power line goes down.

Also if you have anything on the walls be sure to take them down to be on the safe side & bring out your non perishables like canned soups and tuna.

Here to support if a virtual/cuddle session might be helpful to get through the next couple of days.

Stay safe and warm

  • Oops also! If you do happen to be outside fill your gas tanks be aware of power lines and still water. If water cuts out for any reason, fill a few buckets for a shower and to flush the toilet when the time comes ☺️🥰.

  • I sent this link to my sister earlier today, she's in the path of the storm as well.
Freeze gallons of water and fill your bathtubs!
