I like reading profiles . Wheather it be a potential cuddle buddy , potential cuddle pro , or if I scroll through the search cuddlers, and see a new photo of a previous cuddler whose profile I visited before , I will revisit .
I also edit mine by changing location to another state , and activate the 300 mile search and read more profiles .
And yes , I have visited by "pocket visiting",
scrolling through searches and putting too much thumb pressure on someone's picture and .... There is the "scrolling visit"

It seems I could have more visitors but maybe it's my zip code?

The responses I have gotten that were not immediately "are you available at such-and-such a time on such-and-such a date" as if I don't have my own volition in the matter, were men who felt a similar vibe to mine or felt they had something in common.

I'm no supermodel, so it can't be just looks...though I think the eyes and smile are what really attract another being.
  • Dear All.
I read so many profiles, word by word and study the photos, The wording is very important, the meaning behind what is written.
I can speak for many males and females on this site, it is the beauty of you mind which attracts a connection.
The photo shows your body language, how you have put it together, the back ground should not be a men.s room as seen in so many.
Spend a dollar or two and get a nice shot by a photo pro or a friend.
This is not a dating site by it is a communication forum and visual connection is important, words, body language, presentation all play a part.
As for the commpanions a clear out line of you experence, an indication of how you go about a session, music, surroundings, what you have achieved in clients, in relaxation, hormone production and health.
    People DO READ PROFILES.
@Starlight you are a supermodel in my eyes.
Love and peace. John and his trees, Auckland NZ.

I click on profiles based on site activity, distance, and availability.  But I meet with people based on conversation.  For me, if you can't carry a conversation, come across as fake, or you're all business... then I'm not interested.  Like everyone (clients as well as pros), I have my own superficial preferences, but those vary for everyone so you can't really judge people based on that with this type of service.  It's all about being comfortable so why would you cuddle a cactus unless you want to cuddle a cactus? :)  Just be friendly and have that come across in your profile.  It's all you can do.

I just heart you, @funandadventure! And thank you so much for the lovely compliment!

Great point @cuddledingo , about good conversation being essential.

Ok I can understand this very informative I just feel I don't get many messages or views and I would like some advice on how to better my profile or body language what do people perceive about me Based on my profile and what could I work on?

Pillowfight. I just looked at your profile. One thing that I see, is that some of your poses might come off that you want more than platonic cuddling. You are making what appears to be kissing faces and such. Idk maybe that is part of it. I am not in your area so your would not have been on my radar anyway.  So just a thought.
  • [Deleted User]pillowfight (deleted user)
Thank you I took down some of my pictures I hope that helps
  • @pillowfight, I am not in your area, but I just read your profile. I don't see anything off-putting about it that would discourage someone from cuddling with you. I bet the biggest drawback that limits the number of inquiries you get is that you cannot host, but can only be a guest. I have read on other sites that the majority of men prefer the professional cuddler to host. When I visit a paid cuddle companion who cannot host, our first meeting is always at a hotel. I deem that safer than having a stranger in my home for the first meeting.  So that $80 session is suddenly a $200 session once the room cost is factored in. That would dissuade some guys, at least the ones who cannot host. Those guys would not message you. It would be nothing personal, and would not mean there is anything wrong with your profile.

Here is my suggestion: For a full month, count the number of visitors you get. Visit every profile that visits you to determine how many of those are within a reasonable distance. Of those that are, count how many reach out to you. That's your "organic conversion rate."  Know that very few businesses of any kind convert the majority of their online visitors into clients. Once you have that figure, reach out to half a dozen active professional cuddlers on here and ask them if they have a sense of their own organic conversion rate. That's the only way to tell if you are really having a problem relative to the average professional cuddler.

Finally I would say to reach out to those visitors who are close enough to you, but did not reach out themselves. I was recently browsing cuddlers in NYC. [I live almost 200 miles from there.]  Of the dozen or more profiles that I browsed, only two of them sent me a message. Something short and simple. I ended traveling to NYC a few weeks later, and booked an appointment with one. We both enjoyed the session, gave each other good karma, and I plan to see her again when I'm in the area. The moral of the story is that good things come to those who prospect!  The cuddle biz is just like any other biz in that respect: Know your numbers and promote yourself. It takes more than "walk-in traffic" to make most businesses prosper. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you.

  • @pillowfight, Dear Pillow, In my opinion your profile is fine, now you have taken down a picture or two, Try some pictures which show you personalty or hobbies you have, If you can add some successful experiences in cuddling, how you managed to get clients to sleep in your arms, how you feel when connected to a client.
Love and peace from John and his trees, Auckland NZ.

Thanks guys you both have been really helpful

most men that message me are a whole lot older than me which I don't mind a I don't have an age limit and most that visit do love withen 2 hundred miles away and a few I have rated and then some stop talking or change their mind I have a session scheduled for next week my first session and I do not feel
comfortable with hosting or having anyone know where I live for that matter and plus my place isn't finished yet but the close hotel is only 60 bucks a night and my rates are pretty reasonable and fair my over nights are 50 dollars an hour and I have thought about taking an unber to them but I wouldn't feel comfortable riding out some place far unless I have met this person a few times I wouldn't want to get stuck in an uncomfortable situation and have to pay out of pocket for an uber back home I will try to promote myself and I'm sure the more sessions I have the more experienced I will be and not all the profiles that visit are interested in booking maybe only 20 percent even message me very rarely do they message back when I reach out and with pictures of hobbies I can try to take more pictures that look interesting or show my personality I don't have any cuddle experience yet so I wouldn't have any cuddle comfort yet to show potential clients the only thing is with letting them in my place is what if I meet someone that decides to come back unannounced? And my place isn't fixed up with cable and I need a new bed.

@pillowfight there was like only 2 punctuations in that entire paragraph!  My eyes went crossed :P

Participating in the forums is also a good way to get traffic on your profile.  Of course, they won't always live close to you... but it helps to show that you're active on the site.  It could also be your area.  Are there a lot of other Pros near you?  Or clients that hire pros?

Hey pillow, yes the pictures are better good job .
  • [Deleted User]pillowfight (deleted user)
@cuddle dingo I live in a fairly small town and I'm not sure if there is many in my area maybe in North Carolina @ sparklyblueeyes thank you
  • When it comes to pros I'm looking for someone who is kind.  Obviously having a cute profile pic is a plus but one of my favorite cuddle pros had the worst profile pic hahaha.  I would tease her about it cause she was practically scouling in it.
But basically I look for profiles that describe why the pro is doing this and what she thinks of cuddling etc.
you want to avoid the pros who only do this for a quick buck and are barely tolerating their clients.
Those kind of pros make me feel worse after seeing them than if I had seen no one at all.

But the really kind and lovely people I've seen here are great.
  • Hey pillow! One thing that I have done is given an extra hour to clients that have to get a hotel room JUST so they can see me.  I would let the potential clients know about the hotel room that is only $60 and close by.  If you charge $80 an hour and are willing to give them an extra hour for free, if they will pay for the room, then they actually would be saving money.
I host at my home but was initially concerned about having someone come to my place. I have super close neighbors that have dogs that are very alert.  I actually can tell whenever anybody is outside my door or nearby because my neighbor's dog  barks like crazy no matter what hour it is. He actually is a very good alarm system! LOL  I also have two dogs of my own.  I also live in a gated community and have become friends with the 24 hour security guards that travel around the community. Even with all of that I'm still considering putting up wireless security cameras. (It also helps to protect against theft.) I always have my dogs with me in the room that I am cuddling in so I feel safe.  I have my emergency contact people that I let know when I am having a session, with who, how long it is supposed to last and where it is happening. If the session extends I make sure to send a text and let them know how long it has been extended for. I also let them know when it has ended. I DO NOT contact them that it has ended until after the person has driven away and I am safely in my house with my door locked. I also occasionally have safe words that I can incorporate in sentences easily. One is for I'm OK and one is for I need help.  Between all of this I feel pretty safe. ( Especially because of my dogs! )

I have been stalked three separate times in my life. Once in high school and twice in college. Luckily none of them were violent.  All of them were pretty intense though. They actually freaked out my friends, family and coworkers more than they did me. ( I got pretty weirded out myself though. )

Personally, I would promote the savings that your  clients will receive if they pay for the $60 hotel  instead of having to pay for a two hour cuddle session. Even with that you still might not get a lot of clients. Once your place is furnished, organized and you have everything in there that you need, I would make sure to make some friends with my surrounding neighbors and throughout the community. When you have people close by who know and care about you it is a lot easier for them to look out for you. It is also easy for you to look out for them too. (Also if your neighbors know who you are, they won't be as hesitant to contact you to make sure that you're OK.  It also makes it a lot easier to borrow things  from each other in case something breaks or if you run out of baking ingredients and don't have time to get to the grocery store! LOL ) Always have an emergency contact person!  Screen your clients! I meet my brand-new clients at a Starbucks that's very close to me. I also have lots of contact with them before we meet. I also will NEVER have an overnight session with ANY client that I haven't seen MANY, MANY, MANY times! I have to trust them like crazy before I will do an overnight session! But to be honest, if you don't feel comfortable having people come to your home really promote that $60 hotel! After you feel comfortable with them, then you can consider whether or not you feel comfortable ENOUGH to have them in your home. I'm a teacher and an ex- Navy spouse so I strongly believe in being overprepared and not need it, than being under prepared and not knowing how to handle something.  One more thing, decide AHEAD of time where your physical boundaries are on your body. Look in the mirror,  put your hand on yourself and see how close it is to different parts of your body. THEN decide if you are OK with it being that close or not. YOU touching YOUR OWN body  and seeing where your hand is located will make it much easier for you to differentiate whether someone is too close or not. When you feel it and see it in the mirror it becomes MUCH clearer as to how obvious it is that it is too close.  If your client has "oozing" hands the physical touch that you did on yourself will dramatically help!  ( ...along with never hesitating to say no and/or correcting your client when they say or do something that you're not comfortable with/is inappropriate. )   If you have any other questions, concerns… Feel free to PM me!  I hope this helps! HUGE HUG!!!!
  • @pillowfight I think what snuggle 554321 said is a good idea. I think what she said about not doing overnights or multi hr sessions without the trust and familiarity of the person is important too. I am sure there are some paid cuddlers on here who would be happy to take you under their wing if you reach our to them on here. Best of luck, you are a genuinely sweet and honest soul
