I was on a recent flight and a woman brought in two very large calzones. Her friend asked her if she was going to eat both and the woman told her “In space no one can hear you binge” and I leaned over and said until the monster pops out. She broke up laughing and said “that’s right, it was Alien’s marketing catchphrase.
She was one of those people that can make you mad…skinny with a high metabolism who can eat crap like there’s no tomorrow and stay skinny. She chowed down on like 5000 calories.
I never had issues with the quality of airline food.
RNTS lots of great jokes about the food. But…. I think it’s pretty good.

@Suzyq123456 The two or three times I made that trip, I was always impressed with the Singapore Airlines crew. Extremely friendly, polite, professional. I loved their uniforms and the pride they take in themselves.
Airline food? The last time I flew all they had were sun chips 😂

@Mela_B Yeah, there is a snack menu for purchase located in the seat storage area, but I think these are only available for purchase for 900 mile or greater flights. First class will get their own complimentary meals depending on flight distance.
I think that all international flights provide their passengers with a meal.
