How can people be so gross? (food delivery gone wrong)

I do Grubhub on the side for some extra cash and would never tamper with somebody's food no matter how hungry I got. He could've made a couple deliveries and made enough money to buy his own food. You can cash out instantly with these apps. It makes no sense to me.

    Oh my. StUFF of grub hub 🤢 nightmares. Gross 🤮 It’s also a crime here in California.

    “Food tampering under Health and Safety Code Section 347 is a felony punishable by two, four, or five years in state prison. If great bodily injury was inflicted on the victim, you face an additional sentence of up to three years in state prison.”

    Love the interview from the restaurant owner AND he made it right and delivered food free of contamination to this customer. Fantastic looking out -especially in the LBC. I shall eat here upon my next visit because he had me at garlic noodles 🍜.

    I’m just shocked that they only suspended the man for eating the customers food, but I loved how sweet and caring the restaurant owner is that he would feed the drivers if they just asked instead of stealing it from the customers. He deserves an award 🥇 for caring so much about his establishment and community he’s feeding.

    @SouthernDoll - "deactivated" is another term used which just means being banned from the platform. Technically, we can't be fired because we aren't employees. We are independent workers using the app to connect us with customers...
